Extremely unprofessional and refused service – Store #195 Wichita Falls
Apple scheduled an appointment for my daughter’s iPhone 16 at this location (Store #195, Wichita Falls). The phone has a black screen, no cracks and no water damage, and we have AppleCare. My appointment was for 6:40 PM and I drove over an hour from Oklahoma to make it.
While I was already on the road, I received a call from a Geek Squad employee named Gabe. He was rude and dismissive and tried to diagnose the phone over the phone without ever seeing it. He told me it would take 2–4 days to order a part and said there was nothing else he would do. When I politely asked if he could help coordinate with another nearby store, he refused and abruptly hung up on me.
When I arrived at the store and asked for a supervisor, I was told Gabe had already explained the situation and that he thought he had already seen the phone — which was impossible, because I had just walked in. They admitted parts are usually ordered but still refused to properly inspect my device even though I had a valid Apple-scheduled appointment.
I was then told by management that nothing could be offered unless I purchased something in the store, and the store manager (David) was not available. In the end, they refused service entirely.
This location wasted my time, was disrespectful, and handled an Apple-authorized appointment very poorly. Diagnosing phones without seeing them and hanging up on customers who drove in from out of town is unacceptable.

When I tried to ask about certain specs for USB drives nobody knew what I was talking about. I needed to update my BIOS on my PC and needed to be able to format the USB to FAT32 and nobody even knew what that was. Very nice and helpful, but knowledge wise...youre better off at the used game store literally next door there at least people will be knowledgeable enough to help you

Never had any offer to help us. They run . 🤷
I bought an Otterbox case for my IPad. It was a purchase of more than $100. A young man in the store installed it for me. It is a great case and protects my device well. The problem is that the young man installed the wrong case. It has no camera access. Best Buy won’t address the problem for me. I did purchase it last July but the problem was theirs not mine. I will no longer patronize Best Buy.
