Dr. Heard is such a blessing! She is thoughtful, thorough, and compassionate. My pup came in barely able to walk with a cervical spine issue and a shoulder muscle that had quickly deteriorated. Dr. Heard developed a comprehensive treatment plan with Chinese herbals, laser, and acupuncture and my girl is back to herself, running around like a puppy with a strong shoulder. Dr. Heard continuously checked in with me after every treatment. I’m super grateful for the wonderful care Dr. Heard and her team have continued to provide!

This is the first time I’ve come in to write a review for VCA. I’ve had good and bad experiences, but I was always able to feel okay with it in the end. Today really didn’t sit well with me. At 2:15am I received a notification from my bank that I had been charged by VetSource (an online pharmacy that VCA utilizes). I knew I had not made a purchase, so I waited until VCA opened today to inquire. The first young lady I spoke to was helpful, but really wasn’t sure of the charge, etc. she gave me the number to VetSource, along with the order number to call them. I then received an email saying my subscription was canceled (from VetSource). This was confusing as I had just asked was I on an autoship, etc. and was told no. I called back and got someone different - Mariah. She confirmed she wasn’t who I spoke with earlier, but was aware of the conversation. I shared the email I got and inquired what was canceled and what was this 180 day frequency subscription I was on; she was unsure as well - within the conversation she told me my order was canceled; I was again confused because I was originally told only I could cancel/modify the order placed today and had to call VetSource directly. She started to breath hard and talk over me, with a frustrated tone. I asked why was she irritated, I was just trying to understand. I didn’t need the order canceled, I just need to understand so I wouldn’t randomly get charged $150+ without my knowledge. She proceeded to tell me she wasn’t irritated and I always think she is irritated and I’m so rude to her. I promise, I have no idea who this young lady is - I didn’t even know if she was the original young lady I spoke with. What truly concerns me is the people that are dealing with my baby have this perception of reality that’s not true for me. My number 1 priority is the health of my baby/dog. To call and inquire about a charge on my account and to be met with such hostility doesn’t sit well with my spirit. I did request to speak to Dr. Heard - she confirmed there was a subscription on my account and gave me the direct storefront page to order, etc. My baby is a senior dog - there is never a time I want to feel like she’s not being treated well.

I spent 2 hours on our first visit to literally walk out with trucompanion insurance spot insurance and a petcare contract and a doctor who made sure that my dog would have a pre-existing condition making the insurance not cover her in the future - - My dog wasn’t treated for anything although vaccines or medication/prescription for what I stated was my main reason for the visit was not even considered - I walked out with nothing except pre authorization denied claim which had been sent in by the doctor (still not clear why she did that) and the result is my dog is now labeled as having a pre existing condition — what was pre existing when I walked in was a former vet misdiagnosis of her heart worms yet nothing at all treated at all - an utter waste of time - perhaps I was mislabeled as not having enough money for them to treat my rescued dog. That’s how she looked when I rescued her from the street and here she is now hanging out with her big brother-

Best VCA we don't even live by this one. But we go here anytime any of our pets needs ANYTHING. They are amazing, sweet, considerate and reasonably priced. I have been to other VCA's and none of them can compete. Please bring your pets here 🙏

I've been doing acupuncture treatments with Dr. Heard for my two cats for the last year, and it's been a game changer. It corrected the over-grooming and hair loss in my one cat, as well as helped stop his loose stools almost overnight. For the other cat, it's really improved his mobility and the discomfort from his arthritis. Not only is Dr. Heard incredibly knowledgeable, but she is also attentive and willing to find the best treatment possible for your pet's needs. In the 17 years of pet ownership, Dr. Heard is the best vet I've had, and her incorporation of more holistic approaches along with traditional veterinary treatments have been incredibly beneficial.
