    Every time I order something for in-store pick up within three hours of close it’s never prepared where I can pick it up before close. It says within one hour it would be ready and every time it’s three hours close to close it always Ends up being frozen on preparing order until the next day and they won’t allow you to come in the store and get the item when it’s just sitting on the shelf it doesn’t make any sense compared to places like Target who can prepare your order within the hour even if it’s later in the evening Update to your reply: when your app says pick up ready today within one hour and you order two hours or three hours in advance that is not right at close. I have came in before 30 minutes before closed because my order never said it was ready for pick and everyone is just standing around at the register doing nothing and I had to ask the worker if they could go get my item. They went and got it. Everyone was just standing there. Don’t have it listed ready for pick up within an hour if it can’t actually happen. I live out of town and order online to make sure the product is in stock and is ready. I have drove all the way to the store before in the product that was listed in stock was not in stock in the store.

    Bought a dash camera at this store and had to have it installed in Dallas. The Tyler store said they dont have any appointments available till next year. Sadly they didn't install it properly in Dallas so now I have to either go back to Dallas or drive to Longview before warranty expires

    Don’t purchase anything open box from here. I bought an Apple Watch Ultra 3 and they sent me a band that’s not Apple branded. This is not the band the come with this watch. I’ll be reaching out to the BBB. This was definitely false advertisement. Photos to follow.

    Let me share my battery replacement experience with Geek Squad at this location. I made an appointment 4 or 5 days in advance to get my iPhone battery replaced. I show up, they don’t have a battery and I have to leave my phone. (They blame Apple). After you turn it in and prepay for your battery, you get an email to track your repair. I wait 5 days and it still says it’s being repaired. It also says you can check your repair status at apple.com. So, I look there and it says my phone is ready for pick up. I live over an hour away so I thought it best to try and call Best Buy and verify the phone is ready. You can’t call your local store. It goes to a central customer service number I assume in India based on the accents of the people. Nice people, but unhelpful. They say the phone is being repaired and they can’t transfer me to the store. But, they can put a request in and someone will call me in 1-2 days. Here we are a week later and I decide to bite the bullet and drive up there, even though their website says it’s still being repaired. Lo and behold, the phone is ready. When I asked why I was not notified that it had been ready since the 28th, the Geek Squad agent told me someone forgot to check a couple of boxes. Moral of the story, unless you live close and can walk in the store, don’t waste your time. This chain has gone downhill over the years, and their customer service is terrible anymore. Never again will I buy so much as a drink at the front register there.

    Our organization has bought products and used Geek Squad services for years. After the dimissive attitude of Curtis and David with a scheduled appointment, we left feeling unwelcome and concerned. We went through the process given to us by our Best Buy Representative but were told at the store, ours was an usual request. We were have 40 screen protectors put on 40 ipads. We will find another place to have it done. I have reservations about doing business with the Tyler store moving forward.
