  On Saturday, March 21st, we woke up ready to take our dogs out for their morning potty break, but our sweet boy Chico wouldn’t get down and was struggling to breathe. We didn’t know what was wrong, so we immediately rushed him to the closest animal hospital we could find on Google. As soon as we arrived, I carried Chico in my arms and (a little loudly, sorry!) told the staff he was having breathing issues. Without any questions, they quickly took him from me and placed him on oxygen right away. The two ladies at the front desk were incredible — honestly the sweetest and nicest front desk team I’ve ever met (I’m sorry I don’t remember your names!). One of them was especially kind and brought us water and the paperwork while they were checking on Chico. A few minutes later, the doctor came out. She was so sweet and caring as she explained what she thought was happening, asked us questions, and performed an ultrasound and lab work. Based on his liver results, we decided to board Chico for two nights. Before we left, we asked to see him, and they kindly brought him into a room so we could spend some time with him. We left feeling worried, but the clinic kept us updated throughout the day. The overnight doctor even called us personally to let us know how Chico was doing and said he would call again the next morning at 9:00 for a follow-up. The next morning, right at 9:00, the doctor called to tell us Chico was doing great and we could take him home! We can’t thank the entire clinic, the staff, and the doctors enough for their amazing support, kindness, and care during such a scary time. Thank you to everyone who helped our boy Chico — you all made a huge difference!

  I have been bringing my Bella here for a couple of years now. They were referred to me by a friend and let me tell you they did not disappoint. Bella sees Dr Hegde. She is a fabulous veterinarian. She listens to what I say about Bella and offers advice in keeping with my beliefs of a natural healthy diet. They don’t force tests on me they advise and educate and let me make the final decision. Dr Hegde is warm, caring, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Bella just had her wellness checkup. She has had digestive issues since she was a puppy. Dr Hegde has provided the guidance Bella needed to feel better. The staff is warm and professional. If you’re looking for quality care your furry companion this is the place to go.

  I can’t say enough great things about this animal hospital. Dr. Dunkelberger is the best human and veterinarian. All of the support staff is so kind and supportive. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience, no matter the circumstances. Dr. Dunkelberger has the absolute best care - treating your animal with care, like they are her own. She doesn’t make you feel crazy for wanting to go above the “normal” level of care, nor does she guilt you if you choose not to move forward with a suggestion. She listened to me about the concerns with my girl when no one else would, and for that, I am so grateful. I believe I got a better “last” year with my girl because of her (who she finally got a diagnosis for, when other vets just deemed her “old”). All of the techs are kind, professional, and treat the fur babies with dignity - even in their last moments. I highly recommend VCA Lexington Boulevard. 🩷

  Literally I cannot tell u enough about how they love the animals. Our cat loved the Dr right away. Which is not normal. The staff and Dr truly care. I would not hold back recommending them to anyone! Truly, I am so grateful for their kindness in assessing our cat and being so thorough to get him to recovery. I literally cannot praise the staff and Dr enough!! Thank u ❤️❤️ Edison and family**

  We take our pet here for checkups and boarding, and it is consistently a great experience. The staff are very welcoming and caring.
