    My wife lost her iPhone during a trip out of the country. So we went to a Verizon store in Missouri City to have a new one. This store gave us a very good deal since we have been with Verizon for 14 years. However, the new phone could not reuse my wife’s old phone number since the eSIM of the old phone was locked/blocked after she previously reported the old phone was lost. As an independent Verizon store, they were not able to unlock the eSIM. They advised us to go to a Verizon corporate store to unlock it. We rushed and arrived the Verizon store at 59 and Highway 6 just 10 minutes before the store would close at 9 pm. The first agent could not help us with the problem so he escalated it with the store manager, Carlos. Carlos patiently placed calls with Verizon to have the eSIM unlocked. He stayed with us until around 9:30 pm - 30 minutes after closing time. We were amazed at how patient, and knowledgeable of the problem Oscar was. After we described the problem, he immediately understood and started working on the problem right away. While waiting for Verizon customer services, Oscar also helped another customer. Oscar is deserved to be recognized for his devotion and caring to Verizon customers. He performed above and beyond expectations. Thanks so much, Oscar!!!
