  This is the absolute worst store to use for any service. I would gladly drive an extra hour to any other store. They took my phone in for service and what was supposed to be an hour repair turned into a month. This all while no communication or updates from the site.

  Never before have I felt more like livestock. Walked in to a wall of employees all standing in a cluster just inside. I was handed off to a specific employee when I said I wanted some Airpods. We shuffle over to the display of Airpods and before I can even finish asking “What’s the biggest difference between the Pro 2’s and the Pro 3’s?” he has me log in and a set of Pro 3’s brought out. I was assured the Pro 3’s battery life is “gooder.” The whole process took less than 10 minutes and required less than ten words from me. Might as well buy online.

  If you make an appointment in advance, know it’ll get cancelled if you don’t respond their text *before the appointment time* within 5 mins of them sending you the text. I came in to make an appointment at 11:30 am, and they gave me a 2:15 pm one. At 2:04, they texted saying to check in as they’re ready then cancelled it at 2:10 (5 mins before my apt time, not even giving me 10 mins to respond to check in)… A 6 min window to respond at a time earlier than my appointment time is ridiculous, especially after waiting 2.5 hours.

  I chanced on an available appointment within the day through Apple Support for my vintage MacBook. I set an appointment after office hours and made it on time. There were so many people and it seemed like the staff are all busy so I made my way to the back where there's a counter. I was kindly told that I should have checked in with a staff and wait to be called. I was accommodated within a reasonable wait time and was done in less than 20 minutes. The staff ran diagnostics, explained the service plan, gave an estimate cost for the service, and estimated lead time. I didn't have to leave my laptop but would have to come back when parts are available. That was great service for me. I have the opportunity to back up my data before service. Highly recommend trying Apple Support first.

  Caitlin was the most helpful today! She walked me through a very intimidating issue with my computer that I was convinced would cost me thousands or a new computer altogether. She ran every test and reassured me of other things we could do instead of me spending so much. Walked away with a solution and no money spent on the issue. She was kind, patient, relational, and never pushed me to spend once. If you can request her at the Genius Bar, I highly recommend asking for Caitlin!
