The technician tried to help with my phone, which was stuck in recovery mode, but unfortunately wasn’t able to fix it and said it was basically only good for salvage. Not the outcome I hoped for, but the service was courteous throughout.

The extremely frustrating thing is Apple (online) and the store are seemingly disconnected; actually tools by the manager “we don’t have the ability to help with orders through Apple.” Seriously?! I ordered a phone for a birthday gift. Apple couldn’t process payment and failed to let me know. I arrived at the “appointment time” ands was told there was no record of the order. I showed the order number, confirmation emails, etc. After eating 20 minutes, i said “I’ll just buy it now, here at the store.” “You can’t do that without an appointment but we can get you in on Saturday” (2 days past the birthday). The phones were sitting there, I had payment to purchase it, and i was denied because the store system and the Apple system don’t talk.

The technician wasn’t clear when explaining the issue, and when I asked for more details, she just looked at me as if I should already know! She finally said they would take it for diagnosis and contact me later. I waited until Monday with no update, so I called the store myself only to be told that the diagnosis was done on Friday and that they had “tried” to contact me, which never happened. I didn’t receive any call or email. When I spoke to the manager, he repeated the same thing and simply said, “You can come pick it up on Tuesday.” Honestly, this was far from professional. Poor communication, no follow-up, and no real concern for the customer. Very disappointing experience.

My only frustration was calling and asking for updates on my laptop. I wish they had someone to answer the phone as I have had no updates. Update- it’s been a week of repairs.
