- AAAlexSep 19, 20251.0One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at Verizon. DeMarco Serrano made it obvious he didn’t want to be there. Every reasonable question felt like a burden to him. His attitude was dismissive, unhelpful, and at times outright disrespectful / passive aggressive. Getting a straight answer was like pulling teeth. He dodged questions on the phone a week earlier, then gave the exact same answers & attitude in person only after wasting my time. It seemed like the point was to get me into the store and push me through a sale under different terms (presumably would have benefitted him) , which came off as shady and manipulative. I could have made his altered terms work, but it wasn’t worth my effort when he was this confrontational, especially when I can get it elsewhere same day. By the end of my visit, I was so frustrated I canceled my iPhone 17 Pro Max order and walked out. Within 30 minutes I had gone directly to Apple and bought the phone the same day anyway. It’s ridiculous that I had to bypass my own Verizon store just to get honest, competent service. I’ve never had an issue with Verizon overall, nor have I experienced anything remotely similar at this location. All my prior in store experiences here have been great. This rep was an embarrassment to the brand. If you value your time, honesty, and professionalism, avoid DeMarco Serrano. Verizon ownership should really take a hard look at how someone like this is representing their location.
