  Made an appointment for a BSOD on my PC. Paid the $180 annual tech support membership. I was told 2-3 days. It's been a week, with no updates since the day after dropping it off, that just says "repair in progress." I can't speak to a human at the store, so I speak to a "customer service" agent in India, who tells me that he could have someone call me back, to tell me what is taking them a week+ to fix it, but since I didn't make an appointment, there is no record of me on file. I told him I absolutely did make an appointment, and I was given paperwork with the work order number on it. He tells me I'll have to drive to the store to find out. While the reps in India have been very nice, not having the ability to speak to someone at the store, so I don't have to drive almost 40 minutes through I10 construction and LA Canterra traffic, just to ask a simple question, is literally unbelievable to me! Especially since there are many people who rely on some of their products, but don't have the ability to drive up there to ask a question. Customer service will make or break a company in America. Best Buy will quickly be called "Worst Buy!" Lastly, most poor reviews are responded to, by management or even a computer generated response, offering help for their issue, and a phone number. Not a single response from Best Buy, for even a single bad review, tells me they don't care at all. Perhaps they are looking to take a loss for Bankruptcy, taxes, or bail out of some kind? Whatever their reason for their VERY poor choice to inhibit all calls to the store, it's pure greed.

  They don't rake recycle tv's over 50". It took 10 phone calls and never received a local store employee.

  My TV didn't arrive, despite text, email & phone calls that I was scheduled for the delivery. When I called and they forwarded me to someone who could find the invoice, they apologized for the oversight & said the employee had failed the HR as both test. I appreciate their safety measures but feel they didn't meet our agreement.

  So apparently unless you have an Apple product this service for Geek Squad is completely useless and it is theft for them to offer it to you unless you actually feel like going all the way to Round Rock Texas just to fix your phone.

  After I learned that appointments are now necessary since this Geek Squad location is now a Certified Apple Service Center, I had no problem scheduling the appointment. Even though there was a line, I was directed to a seat and checked-in because I had an appointment. While all of the agents were busy, I was next to be helped along with those others who also had appointments. I was very pleased with the experience.
