  Made an appointment for a BSOD on my PC. Paid the $180 annual tech support membership. I was told 2-3 days. It's been a week, with no updates since the day after dropping it off, that just says "repair in progress." I can't speak to a human at the store, so I speak to a "customer service" agent in India, who tells me that he could have someone call me back, to tell me what is taking them a week+ to fix it, but since I didn't make an appointment, there is no record of me on file. I told him I absolutely did make an appointment, and I was given paperwork with the work order number on it. He tells me I'll have to drive to the store to find out. While the reps in India have been very nice, not having the ability to speak to someone at the store, so I don't have to drive almost 40 minutes through I10 construction and LA Canterra traffic, just to ask a simple question, is literally unbelievable to me! Especially since there are many people who rely on some of their products, but don't have the ability to drive up there to ask a question. Customer service will make or break a company in America. Best Buy will quickly be called "Worst Buy!" Lastly, most poor reviews are responded to, by management or even a computer generated response, offering help for their issue, and a phone number. Not a single response from Best Buy, for even a single bad review, tells me they don't care at all. Perhaps they are looking to take a loss for Bankruptcy, taxes, or bail out of some kind? Whatever their reason for their VERY poor choice to inhibit all calls to the store, it's pure greed.

  WARNING - YOU SHOULD NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, USE THE GEEK SQUAD AT THE RIM (La Cantera) TOTALLY INCOMPETENT!! If I could give them a zero I would! I can’t believe how horrible this place is. I heard about the condescending way the staff talked to people and ignored them. I also heard about the very long weight lines when you take your computer in. So I ordered an in-home service. I paid $300 and had to wait over a week for someone to come out to set up my new laptop because I did not want to take it into the shop after the Horror stories I had heard. I called today to check on the appointment for tomorrow and was told that they had to reschedule my service for July 1. The people on the phones are just as rude and condescending as the ones in the store. I immediately asked for a refund. Went to Angie’s List and someone will be at my house at 8am tomorrow. Cost $180.

  They don't rake recycle tv's over 50". It took 10 phone calls and never received a local store employee.

  My TV didn't arrive, despite text, email & phone calls that I was scheduled for the delivery. When I called and they forwarded me to someone who could find the invoice, they apologized for the oversight & said the employee had failed the HR as both test. I appreciate their safety measures but feel they didn't meet our agreement.

  Ask me $99 for reformatting which is a total ripoff. Also I bought a SSD from bestbuy and this associate wants $60 bucks from me just to insert it into my laptop!~! Such a rip off.
