    My wife and I were looking to buy the new meta glasses that have a screen integrated. The closest location that had a demo was this store, it’s 250 miles away from our home. We plan a trip specifically to be able to test this glasses out. When we arrived to our appointment, the guy that supposed to help with our demo had very bad attitude, did not help at all, he was standing next to the little black ottoman. When we ask him question he will do a deep breath before answering making us feel like we were bothering him. This a high end Best Buy location, with a very low customer service.

    This was the absolute worst customer experience ever! First of all, the new AI phone system is absolutely ineffective. Secondly, my HP desktop had a problem. I brought it in to the Geek Squad and spoke to a young man, Brandon. I explained that my computer screen was black and it emitted 3 long beeps followed by 3 short beeps. I explained that someone told me it was a critical hardware issue, but I didn’t know for sure if what I was told was accurate. Brandon said they couldn’t fix hardware issues and I needed to take it some place else. He was a pleasant young man, but didn’t even try to plug in the computer to see if he could replicate what happened. I left and took it to UBreakIFix. Guess what?! He actually plugged the computer in and it started right away. He explained the problem was the power source. He didn’t charge me. I tried to call the manager to discuss this over the phone vs a negative post but couldn’t get past the AI bot. So, here you go!

    Was told by HP that I could come to Best BUY to have warranty repairs completed, but Best BUY tells me they are going to charge me $80 just to ship it to the manufacturer for repairs because I didn't buy it at Best BUY. I can tell you one store that will never be getting my business again. It's no wonder so many of their stores are going out of business.

    5 Stars for Dave & David in-store, 1 Star for Best Buy Corporate/Logistics/Online. I’ve had back‑to‑back terrible experiences ordering through Best Buy’s online system. Items don’t arrive, orders get marked “backordered” without any notification, and every attempt to get help turns into being passed from agent to agent like a hot potato. It’s exhausting. Because of that, I’ve had to go into the store multiple times just to get real help and that’s where Manager Dave and his team shine. Dave actually listens, takes ownership, and finds solutions. People like him are the only reason long‑time customers like me, 15+ years with a Best Buy credit card and Total Tech Member, are still hanging on. If Best Buy ever loses leaders like Dave, I’m done. I’d move everything to Crutchfield in a heartbeat because their online customer service which is all they have is miles ahead. I prefer face to face, old‑school service, and this store delivers that. It just shouldn’t be their job to constantly clean up the mess created by Best Buy’s online and logistics failures. Corporate needs to give Dave a raise and start listening to their in‑store teams about what’s actually happening with the customer experience. Without that, the clock is ticking and AI customer service will eat your lunch. Huge thanks to Dave and David for keeping me loyal and keeping my tech dollars for my business and personal life in your store.

    I recently went in for a new CPU. After the guy got the product from the cabinet, he starting ringing up my order. I said "can I look at the box" as this is a particularly delicate and expensive piece of hardware. The box was crumpled up, it had definitely been crushed/smashed somehow. I said "ah man I don't want to buy this." he said "okay let me look around". Found out that there was no more product nearby and said "here I'll ship it to you, it'll be there tomorrow." I think to myself "great, it'll just take another day." Little did I know, he literally meant that he would ship the exact same product that I did not want to purchase in store. So instead of me getting a new product shipped from elsewhere, he shipped me the exact damaged, crumpled box that I did not leave with. I don't think I have ever been more frustrated with a sales associate in my life. I cannot wait to support Best Buy's competition in the future.
