I have been a dedicated member of Verizon for over 15 years. Yesterday I went into the local store to pay off my old device and to get the latest iPhone. Veronica aka Vern was the sales associate that assisted me. The price she gave me to pay off my device and get into the phone I wanted left enough money available that I could get an Apple Watch with my purchase. So, I jumped at the opportunity. The transaction seemed seamless and we left happy. That was until we were setting up our devices. That’s when we realized that it was not all as it seemed. We had to add a line to our account which we were under the impression was done at the store. So fast forward to today we returned to the store for a simple clarification. That’s when we were informed the Veronica never sold us the watch and In fact charged our account incorrectly. Now the store is accusing us of stealing the watch we were told we paid outright for. The store manager and assistant manager were both very confrontational and even lied to our faces. Corporate has been contacted and even they can’t make sense of the store’s actions. An investigation into the manager and her store has been opened. I do not recommend spending any money at this store. Your account may be in jeopardy if you have done business with this location.

Told me my new Motorola phone couldn't be unlocked and would have to buy new phone from them. So had cricket unlock the phone, took 15 seconds went back and now they said phone was not compatible. I said a few choice words and was ask to leave and to go to the Verizon in the mall. I'm so glad I did Jacob knew what he was doing took 30 minutes but he got it done like a champ.. so Mall Verizon yes.... Sherwood way Verizon absolutely not.

The store was short staffed and we waited 45 min and had to leave, one because no one should have to wait that long to upgrade their phone it’s so ridiculous how long getting a new phone takes. It worse than buying a car in my opinion. Two, the seats in that store are beyond ridiculous. Hard wood stools with no back on them or a cushion bench that puts you right behind someone getting their phones so you can hear almost everything that you shouldn’t. You should make this and all stores more comfortable because buying a phone takes forever.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had by a woman named Vern. I am on a company account and out of state working at the hospital. My sim stopped working this morning and I had to drive to nearest store. She told me that due to me not being the account holder they could not help me. She did not offer any suggestions and when I was trying to ask her how I could get account manager in contact to send digital sim she walked to the back room laughing. I have been with Verizon 15 years and will be changing immediately. Also the young man who takes your name at the front advised me to use the WiFi to text account manager and have her call customer service and send me digital sim (while I am on their WiFi at store). Thank goodness for him.
While waiting in store observed her acting inappropriately and obnoxious stating “she doesn’t care she is not staying late for anyone”.
Not cut out for customer service job. Period.
