I purchased an open-box Sony BRAVIA Theater Bar 9 (HT-A9000) from Best Buy back in September 2024, but I only recently realized that I was actually given a Sony HT-A3000 instead. I’m still making payments on this purchase, and it’s extremely frustrating to find out that I’ve been paying for a much more expensive soundbar than what I received. This is a serious fulfillment error, and it’s very disappointing that it went unnoticed at the time of pickup. I trusted Best Buy’s open-box process to correctly label and match products, and now I’m stuck trying to fix an issue months later that should never have happened in the first place. Moving forward, I will be doing a thorough check on any open-box items before leaving the store to make sure this never happens again, but customers shouldn’t have to double-check that the retailer gave them the correct product. I expect Best Buy to take responsibility for giving me the wrong model and to make this right, especially considering I’m still paying for the higher-priced item. Experiences like this make it hard to trust their open-box listings and quality control going forward.
aside from the very welcoming and nice lady at the entrance, this place is miserable. we were there for 25 mins and no one asked us anything and finally. we then purchased a bunch and when we paid they said they don’t have bags and we had to go to another part of the store to find bags. the cashier seemed also surprised that we bought something!

I wanted to buy Oakley Meta glasses and when I asked for assistance, they said they’ll send someone over. I waited for 30 damn minuets and no one came. I asked another employee and said they’ll send someone as well. Well guess what. No one came. I waited for an entire hour and still no one got to me before I got frustrated and left the store. The employees that weren’t dealing with customers were just hanging out with other employees and talking rather than taking initiative and helping. Do better. Seriously.

Absolute work experience … the geez squad was supposed to fix my phone screen, after setting an appointment they committed to, I got there and they said they didn’t have any screen in store and made me pay and told me to come back with the receipt . I went back with the receipt today, whoever assisted did not cross check and told me I can come back in 2 hours to grab the phone .. 2 hours later I got a call saying my order was cancelled and to come back make another payment and come back another 2 hours later??? Yall must be kidding been on phone for 4 hours with no resolution.. never again!!!
