    This could be much longer, but I'll try and make it brief. I had an old Google Pixel 7 that stopped working. I work in medical and had to have a working phone to access certain apps and so on. I went in and spoke with someone who basically sold me a new phone, told me to send the old phone in for insurance, then return the new phone when I got the insurance replacement. I ended up walking out with a Pixel 9 Pro and was able to get it set up by the end of the day. With a lot of help from my boyfriend. I'm not technically inept, but, there was a step that was missed, I would find out later, that caused the whole transfer process to be much more complicated than it should have been. I get the replacement phone in the mail and I have it for two days. In those two days the speaker goes out and I'm unable to do any kind of group text messaging. I go back into Verizon with the intent to at this point, return the phone so I can then exchange the POS I was sent for replacement. This is where Kelli comes in. This poor woman is trying to get my phone connected to refund, so that we can get the other phone reconnected and I can use it for a trade in. Which should have been offered to me the first time. She is doing this while Verizon is out and having nationwide outages. She is unable to connect the phone that night and get everything set up, but, she is able to get at least one phone working so I have access to people that night. Knowing that I was in charge of a birthday bar crawl. I come in the next day at 11:00am sharp because when I wake up, neither phone is connected to the Verizon network and I get an email from my Dad saying that his isn't working either. In enters Decoda. Who does their magic and gets not only entirely new SIM cards set up on the phone so it works, but between both Kelli and Decoda, they were able to get everything set up, refunded and discounted. I know this is already going long, but, these two are absolute super stars who sat and really listened, made sure I was taken care of, then took care of my Dad as well, who was in a panic about cost and things not working. I will only go back and deal with either one of these two amazing humans.

    When I walked in, the man who asked if I needed help never looked me in the eye, then proceeded to try to upgrade my plan to the most expensive option without explaining anything to me. When I asked what kind of trade in I could for my current phone, his response was that it the screen showed nothing for a trade in unless I upgraded to the highest plan. There was no discussion as to what the other options were, and all of this was done without ever looking me in the eye. I wouldn’t have even known what he was doing if I hadn’t asked. He just simple said, “that will be $33/month” without explaining anything. When I told him that my online researched showed different levels of trade in values based off of different plans, he just said he didn’t see that on his screen and kept tapping away. Meanwhile the other staff member who was not helping anyone just stood in the middle of the store staring blanking out the front window, not moving an inch.
