I went in to trade in my phone and watch since I upgraded to new devices. As soon as I explained why I was there, the reaction was dismissive — basically, “oh, you’re not a new customer,” followed by asking for my phone number. Immediately after, I was told they couldn’t help me and that I had to call Customer Service instead. When I asked why, trying to understand, someone in the back shouted in Spanish (I am Hispanic) that I should just call Customer Service because they weren’t going to do anything. That was completely unprofessional and discriminatory. I ended up calling Customer Service right away, and they not only helped me but also reported the store and the person who accessed my account. If you live in Odessa and need in-person Verizon support, do yourself a favor and avoid this location. Go to the store in the mall or even to Midland — anywhere but here.
