If I owned the store she was my manager and I saw her treat a customer and speak to a customer like she spoke to me I would have terminated her employment on the spot! I do not recommend this cellular store in the Odessa Texas mall I would avoid and go anywhere else except here.

I went in to trade in my phone and watch since I upgraded to new devices. As soon as I explained why I was there, the reaction was dismissive — basically, “oh, you’re not a new customer,” followed by asking for my phone number. Immediately after, I was told they couldn’t help me and that I had to call Customer Service instead. When I asked why, trying to understand, someone in the back shouted in Spanish (I am Hispanic) that I should just call Customer Service because they weren’t going to do anything. That was completely unprofessional and discriminatory. I ended up calling Customer Service right away, and they not only helped me but also reported the store and the person who accessed my account. If you live in Odessa and need in-person Verizon support, do yourself a favor and avoid this location. Go to the store in the mall or even to Midland — anywhere but here.

And for some peculiar reason announce "she wasn't the lady type, didnt even carry a purse". Finally was able to help her see logic in having one of the other 3 employees check me out. Then along goofy with a traditional goofy laugh every 15 seconds, 🤔 maybe she was laughing cause I started off with "give me the cheapest phone you got" (I break them often) 😒joke was on me new service gets new phone..... kinda hard to find a case for this one plus I think goofy added an app to it 🤷♂️ do all phones come with 2 calculator apps...idk I went there cause of Russell's name. Sucks they did his name like that..... I won't go back.... it makes me sad to look into eyes of miserable..... only left this review cause they kept texting for it.
