- SSSharonFeb 19, 20261.0I bought an iPhone 17 this evening after my old phone completely shut down. The employee ( I think his name is Phillip ) there was only interested in selling us on their internet. He told me to take my new phone to Best Buy geek squad to have them get everything switched over. I had my iPad with me and everything is in the cloud but he insisted. He bundled my phone and adaptor up and bagged them up. He told us we could text and call on it until we get it set up at Best Buy. I tried to use it a short time later, and it is not set up at all. What the heck !! I didn’t have time to go to Best Buy, so I still don’t have phone service. I’m seriously considering just returning the phone to Verizon and buying it elsewhere.
