  Operating system crashed on my pc, and late one afternoon decided to try BestBuy Mesquite's Geek Squad department for repair. They provided a 2-3 days estimate to let me know. I received email the next afternoon that all was completed, and ready. I was surprised, but pleased. I came in to receive it the following day. Everything had been saved, no data lost. All explanations made sense. The customer service individuals were courteous and knowledgeable, pre- and post-repair. The only negative aspect was that there was just one customer service person on that desk, needing to wrap my pick-up documentation/explanation up, while trying to help a person who sat down next to me with his cell phone issue. I felt rushed-away, at a time when wrapup is critical for a customer dealing with questions about life-after-pc-crash-and-repair. However, I just overlooked the rushed feeling, happy to have my system back. At home later, I then realized I should have brought the system up there with the customer service person. Sure, he had done so at the store, but I should have also done so. I would have asked more questions about how my system looked, and about catching up certain apps that I always use. Things like that. I'm happy to have not lost anything. Just should have not allowed myself to be hurried, as far as the post-repair review of my unit. All in all, the experience was positive in-store. Capable, friendly, and clear interaction was something enjoyable to experience after the horrible experience of a crashed system.

  Apparently making an appointment for repair, is not an appointment for repair. What's the point of an appointment, and why aren't you told this when you make an appointment?
