My phone went down and it was rent week, I need my phone for work, clocking in and out, and documentation. I took money I really didn't have as extra, bought cheap phones from Cricket to get me through until I could afford better. Opportunity came up to switch companies and move to a family plan, less expense, free phones... I switched. A few days later, I tried to return the cheap phone I bought, they wouldn't take it back. Said I should have brought it back before I switched companies. I couldn't because it was Sunday and they were closed. Then the gal told me I wouldn't get much back for the phone anyway. I had her call her supervisor, who basically said, if I wanted to reactivate the account, they could give me a refund. But of course, that was going to cost me more than I paid for the phone. They were unhelpful, found me amusing as they spoke to each other on the phone. I let them know I was going to let others know how they handled this, and I would do my best to dissuade anyone from using Cricket. ☹️
