I upgraded my phone online last week and went to this location to pick it up so that I’d have it before my international flight tomorrow. The store was a 20 minute drive away but I could get the phone in time. When I arrived, there was one lady in the store and she was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. I brought my drivers license and credit card as instructed when I made the purchase but she refused to look at either and instead demanded a device ID. I had no clue what she was talking about and when I asked about my options she told me that she couldn’t help me. Subsequently I spent over 2 hours in a chat with Verizon where I was passed to 6 different agents. All of them confirmed that I didn’t need a pin to pick up the phone, only my ID and credit card. However, none of them could simply move the pickup to another store without canceling and waiting over a week for a refund and repurchase. As a business owner myself I cannot comprehend such poor and hostile customer service.
