Hindsight says that I should have purchased the new one because I noticed the badly damaged box and purchased it anyway.

I don’t live by this store and apparently, I will have to drive all the way to this out of town store to actually speak with someone at the store. Corporate has said I have to speak with the store directly and the only way to do that is in person. Ridiculous that I even have to follow up, and even more ridiculous that I have to drive to another city to do so. This experience has been enough to make me never use this company again and I will be opening every dispute possible.
