  VCA is a Private Equity company now. Prices higher, services not as good. Veterinarians are more skilled at explaining upcharging for unnecessary treatments as they are for caring for your pet.

  Bonnie and Dr. Smith were a breath of fresh air today. We were new clients and from a dog mom with severe anxiety, they went through the exam and every touch point step by step ensuring my dog was at ease (and anxious mom me). Bonnie showed me a technique using a towel that helped us administer meds into my dogs eyes safely and comfortably. The company also offers a monthly care plan that helps keep regular and emergent visits affordable. Thank you so much to the whole team from front to back at VCA! 5 star service at its finest!

  This review is long overdue, as I've been bringing my cats here for the last 2.5years. First off, establishing care here was very smooth and efficient in reaching out to collect my cat's previous medical records. We never wait long for our appointments, and I bring my cats here for thorough yet gentle yearly exams. We see both Dr.Sanchez and Dr.Mountain, who are both incredibly kind, patient, knowledgeable, respectful, and professional. They both take the time to answer all my questions and explain diagnosis/medications/treatment plans- they never rush visits. Recently, Dr.Sanchez noticed dental abnormalities during a yearly exam for one of my cats, and he calmly explained what he was observing, potential diagnosis, and treatment options. He even went out of his way to check if Dr.Terrell was available to do a more thorough dental exam, which was done and in the same day they explained her condition and procedure for removing some problematic teeth. The process of scheduling the procedure and labwork was smooth, and they kept a clear line of communication through it all. Dr.Terrell was very patient via phone calls and would answer all my questions patiently. Scheduling visits is always easy, as you can do it online or via phone call. Every team member here is kind, caring, and welcoming. When I had to bring one of my cats to a 24/7 animal hospital for urinary issues, they called the next day to follow up. They are always so responsive and show genuine concern and care for my cats- I cannot thank them enough. Twice now, I have had to cancel last minute and they are so understanding and never make me feel bad (this is such a good sign from any type of healthcare office!). They are honest and transparent with their reasonable prices as well. A big thank you to everyone at VCA terrell, we are so lucky to have y'all.

  Our vet, Dr Mountain, is literally the best vet our FOUR animals have ever had! She has saved EACH of our pets health and lives at least once. She takes the time to listen to me and my husband. She recognizes it’s difficult for me to watch our pets get vaccinated so she always offers to take the dogs to the back out of my view. She is the most thoughtful and patient vet we’ve been to! When she is not available we have also loved every interaction we have had with the other veterinarians, techs, & staff at this VCA location. They have always been patient and kind with us and our pets!
