- TRThomas RuzzanoNov 8, 20254.0To purchase an apple gift cards they had it but the one card worked and the other was detained from working best buy employees were not helpful in obtaining the reason why but for a suggestion concerning fraud i was told the 100 dollar card needed a pin or it didn't have money on it I finally got in touch with apple and found out sometimes when fraud is suspected they put a temporary hold on the card and you just have to wait an hour or so for the funds to be released back to the card if anyone were to but a gift card take a screenshot and text it to someone, beware it tends to look suspect whether you trust the recipient or not
