This place does not even deserve half a star. We unfortunately had to put our 15 year old Sammie to sleep yesterday and Dr. Martinez has left us with a sour memory. First off, he had little to no empathy for our situation. He was very short and came off cold. When it came time for him to do the injection, he told me to hold her head since she will start to go down but before I could hold her he started the injection and her head hit the table!!! Do you know how horrible that is to see and have as a final memory???? I am devastated this how I will remember Sammie's last moments. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!

I've used this VCA several times over the years and always gotten great service. What prompted me to write a review was right before Christmas last year my girl Duchess collapsed at my parents house and they rushed her to this location. Unfortunately she passed before arriving. It was about the time they were supposed to close but the staff stayed late to see my girl and to wait for me to arrive to see my baby. They did this without saying a word to us about it and were helpful and accomodating in our grief. They took impressions of her paw without asking and sent them with us when we took her body. I can't say enough about how much that meant and how much I would recommend them for emergency care!

After attempting to visit 3 other animal emergency hospitals, we found VCA Southeast to treat our cat. From the moment, we walked through the doors, we were treated with kindness and empathy. Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Brannon and her team. She took the time to explain what her recommendations for treatment were and how she would go about it. Any visit to an emergency animal hospital will have high costs, but Dr. Brannon assured us she was going to take top notch care of our cat. Dr. Brannon followed up with texts and phone calls to make sure our cat was ok. Thank you Dr. Brannon and your team for providing excellent care!

NOT AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL! NO VET ON SITE. I got there at 6:30pm on a Wednesday because my dogs eye was swelling up and I was afraid he was having an allergic reaction. When I checked in, I was told it would be 20 minutes till we were seen. I found that weird since there was no one in the waiting room, no one parked outside. But I was desperate and this Hospital was the closest to me so I waited. 20 minutes passed, my dog was crying and uneasy and nothing. I could see that there was someone else with scrubs on sitting down in the back. So I went to ask how much longer it would take and I was told it would take another 15-20 minutes. I asked why a the girl made a face like she was bracing me For bad news. She said no one was there, there was no vet there at an EMERGENCY CENTER!!!!!! she gave me the option to wait or to go to another hospital. I asked if she could call the vet to see how long it would take for them to arrive and she said she would call and let me know in another 15-20 minutes. No urgency from her AT ALL! SO I WAS GOING TO WAIT ALMOST AN HOUR WITH A DOG WITH A POSSIBLE ALLERGIC REACTION?!! Mind you they had already charged me $170 for just a ”consult” fee. She went to the back and came back and told me that she could put me in a room now, I think it was just to save face. Why couldn’t I be put in there when I first arrived? It was only offered when I showed my disappointment and frustration. If I would’ve known there was no vet on sight, I would’ve taken my dog elsewhere but of course they’re not going to tell you that, cause they want your money!!. I called before arriving and the calls go straight to voicemail.. When I asked for a refund and told her I was going to take him somewhere else, her face lit up. I could tell she was just happy to get me off her back. I can’t believe this place is advertised as an emergency hospital yet there’s no one on site to see your pet If needed. playing with people’s time, and their pets lives. Don’t take your pet there unless you can wait for god knows how long, till someone decides they want to show up. Hopefully your dog won’t die in the meantime.
