A cricket SIM put into a phone not on the list is automatically blocked from being used on the network. No LG phones are on that list because "LG Doesn't make phones anymore".. nuff said.. This is a blatant money grab in effort to force customers into getting new devices from them (which are good deals mostly I will admit, kudos to Cricket for being competitive here) This means that you are unable to use a backup phone, or hand me down phone, or a cool phone you found a good deal on. After many years with Cricket, I switched to NVMO (mobile virtual network operator).
