Maybe I am missing something, I was sold the protection plan for my laptop, being told it was for two years, and cost $179.99. But in order for me to keep that protection, I have to let "My Best Buy Total" be renewed 04/18/2027 for $179.99 a year, and once I cancel that I will no longer have the protection plan: that sounds like a gimmick and/or a lie, can someone explain to me how it is not? Update, no Best Buy's response does not address the deceipt of calling this a TWO YEAR warranty for $179.99, but I just requested a refund, and as long as I receive it, I leave this as a 5 star because Hung did a great job.

The location was ok. It was disturbing to witness one of the reps on the floor picking his nose, right there in public and during normal business hours.
It was even more disturbing that he would've been the person to show and handle the headphones that we were there to purchase.
I think this experience speaks for itself.

I had a very frustrating experience with Best Buy, specifically their Geek Squad service. I purchased a Meta Quest 3S from them and expected at least basic support with setup and troubleshooting. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all.
Over the past three weeks, I’ve faced multiple issues with setting up my Meta account and getting the device connected and working properly. Despite several visits and interactions, Geek Squad was unable to provide any meaningful assistance. Each time, I was either given vague responses or told that they couldn’t help with the issue.
What’s most disappointing is that after purchasing the device directly from Best Buy, I expected a certain level of post-purchase support—especially for something as technical as a VR headset. Instead, I was left to figure everything out on my own.
Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing. Poor customer service, lack of technical knowledge, and no accountability. I would not rely on Geek Squad for setup or support in the future.
