Buyer Beware - Verizon currently advertises “All iPhone 17 on us, and bring your current bill and we will beat it”
This is 100% false advertising. They will literally port you over with a false promise, then you will get your estimated bill. The trade in devices won’t show up, the rate plan won’t be correct, nor any extra discounts like military. When you call customer service they will keep you on the phone for hours transferring you all over to people who barely speaks English and after hours and hours you won’t get any answer or progress. Their assumption is you will give up and accept the hideous charges. After 30 hours over 8 days I went into the Verizon Store and spoke to the manager Lawrence Edward’s, and he literally laughed at me for believing I could get the rate plan and iPhone on Verizon. He then refused to represent me and call customer care to assure I would not get passed around and lied to. This is after they promised when I walked in they could and would help me. The moment they realized they could not sell anything extra to me, they basically treated me like garbage. Lawrence literally said he had better things to do than to help me. Finally after 9 days and my unwillingness to accept the price that was on the bill ($962 a month), Verizon fraud abruptly cut off my service. When I called fraud department and asked why they said no comment and stated you are only eligible for our prepay services. I then went to ATT and got a plan that day; however now Verizon refused to allow me to port my own phone numbers and it took calling the better business bureau to force them through corporate relations to release my lines. I literally was without service for another 4 days. Then these thief’s literally tried to charge me restocking fees to turn in their equipment and refused to take it back. Again, it took the BBB involvement. This company flat out False advertised, lured me in, sent a estimated bill that was 4x more assuming I would think credits would show up later, provided service on 4 of 11 devices for 18 hours, ran me in circles for 9 days, refused to release my numbers, and when I begged a Verizon store to represent me, this Preston Road store was arrogant once they realized they can’t sell me anything. Specifically the store manager Lawrence Edward’s. I went down the street and Natalie and her staff at ATT worked over 4 days to get me on a plan just under $200 for a 11 line account with military discount and other incentives. They also saved me on my Internet services by bundling my plan. Between phone and internet, I’m saving roughly $200 a month from what I originally had with TMobile. Verizon is just a bunch of dishonest people from the top down and ATT was kind, compassionate, and looked for every savings opportunity for my family/small business. I will post this message every few days until the legal action I have initiated to expose Verizon’s fraud tactics and seek financial award for the thousands of dollars lost when they provided services for 18 hits over 9 days.

Popped into this local VZ store (Frisco, TX - Preston/121).
Had a unique trade in thing related to recent upgrades on 2 of my lines. Long story short is I needed to come into a store to handle a promotional trade in for 2 lines.
Met Art and Emmanuel (Manny) as soon as I walked in. Manny took care of me and while we had some detours (technical issue on the VZ billing system), he helped me see it through. Today was definitely more of a service type visit (I didn’t need to buy or upgrade anything), and Manny was a 5-star Pro, courteous, communicative and helped me get it done.
I potentially may have to call in to CS for a follow up item but I just needed to share my experience. In an impatient culture, Manny stepped up and took the time to get me squared away. I really really appreciate his efforts and hope his leadership team knows what an asset he is.
