On Friday, January 2nd, 2026 around 6:45 PM, we had an extremely unpleasant experience due to an employee working the front entryway (dark hair, arm tattoo). While browsing for a specific item, a nearby sound system suddenly began playing at an extremely loud volume, so loud that we had to cover our ears. We couldn’t move away because the item we were looking for was right next to the display.
We attempted to lower the volume slightly, but the system turned off and immediately turned back on to an even louder painful level. When another person in our group tried to adjust it, the same thing happened. Instead of calmly explaining or helping resolve the situation, the employee approached us with a very rude and confrontational attitude, telling us to stop touching it because it was “for demo purposes” and stating that if we kept doing it, he would turn it even louder.
This was an incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional way to address customers especially from someone positioned at the front of the store, whose role should involve greeting and assisting customers. There were many ways this could have been handled respectfully, but instead we were spoken to rudely and made to feel uncomfortable for simply trying to protect our hearing. This interaction left a very negative impression of the store. We will no longer be shopping here.

We visited the Best Buy in Alliance and the music playing on the demo TVs was so loud that we couldn’t have a normal conversation without yelling, and it was actually hurting our ears. We turned the volume down so we could finish shopping and leave.
Immediately after, the employee working the door to check bags and greet customers approached us in a very hostile and aggressive manner over turning the volume down. He was extremely rude to my husband, and when I responded with the same energy, he clearly didn’t like it. After walking away, he even came back again as if he was trying to start a confrontation.
Because of how uncomfortable and unprofessional this interaction was, we will no longer be shopping at this location and will be purchasing future items from Amazon or other retailers instead.

I have been doing business with Best Buy for a long time, and this is my first time writing a review, which is not good. They are definitely going downhill. My concern is when a customer enters the store, greet them, not yell at them. If Best Buy's employees do not like their job, they need to leave, not help the business to shut down.

Horrible service from Austin at customer service. Did not care at all to help with my problem. I got AirPod 4’s as part of a promotion at Best Buy and tried to exchange them for some noise cancelling ones and they tell me that I can’t exchange because I got these for free. As far as I know they charge $80 for these headphones so it’s mind blowing to me that you wouldn’t let a customer exchange an unopened product purchased FROM YOUR STORE. Unreal.

Best Buy employees are great, but the fact that you can’t ever call to get any information and you have to drive directly to the store and if you have to call you get some lame third-party outsourced resource that isn’t efficient. Is a horrible experience.
