  The existence of SEARS still fills me with joy, a cherished remnant of my childhood when my parents would take me there for what felt like endless hours. My legs would throb from the constant walking and standing, yet the thrill of exploring the aisles was worth every ache. The sight of CRAFTSMAN toolboxes and bowflexes on display transported me back in time, a wave of nostalgia washing over me. It's astonishing to think there are only five of these stores left in the Continental U.S., each one a portal to those simpler days.

  Had a horrible experience today, my wife and I came to pickup a phone for a friend who ordered it online at apple.com and put us as the pickup party. She really needed it due to her old phone breaking but she couldnt make the commute in time before the store closed due to her later shift at work - her work relies on her having a phone to use authentication apps. When we showed up to pickup, the man acted erratic, asked us for some QR code that neither my friend nor I received as the pickup person, all we had was some emails from apple with an order number and a text that just said how to use icloud to backup and restore phones. He pulled us to the side to an emptier area and some woman then showed up with an extra phone calling some number that had over an hour wait so that I could speak to customer service and explain why the pickup person was different than the ordering person. She said theres nothing she could do. We had our own commitments and this was supposed to be a fast pickup. My friend showed me pictures of the order receipt and it clearly showed us as the pickup party. They never asked me for my name or ID. It was all so weird and we got some weird stares from both the man and the woman that work there. We went in our motorcycle gear and I'm not sure but it felt like we were profiled as scammers or thieves. Needless to say we walked out from this HORRIBLE TREATMENT - no explanation, no nothing, and when I said I didnt have time to wait that long the woman didn't even care to empathize or appease. Never had I felt like this. Ever.

  People are nice but don’t know what they’re doing this is going to be my 3rd time going up there because of the same issue, I don’t live close and it’s so annoying and inconsiderate that they don’t just lmk that they don’t know what they’re doing so I can go to someone or somewhere who does

  Any time I go in there TROY ends up helping me and he is one of the most insufferable human beings I’ve ever come across. Any time I point something out, he has a snarky comment. No I don’t want Apple care, no I don’t want the upgrade, just take no for an answer dude. I get you think you’re hot stuff because you work at Apple, but please learn some humility, just tell me about the product, and sell it to me. And yes, I do want a bag, no I don’t need your snarky “would you like a bag or do you want to save a tree” comment.

  I want to give a huge shout-out to Steph and her incredible team! I brought in my iPhone 17 on Monday because it was constantly rebooting. Even though I arrived at 7 PM without an appointment, the team was quick to help (though I definitely recommend making an appointment for a smoother experience!). The specialist who helped me was wonderful—she ran diagnostics, explained the process clearly, and provided a loaner phone in great condition. When I returned on Friday, the phone unfortunately still had issues, but that’s when the service went from good to amazing. Steph (the manager) stepped in to assist. She and her colleague worked tirelessly to find a solution. By the end of the visit, Apple had me set up with a phone that feels brand new, plus a new case and screen protector. I am so impressed by the attitude and dedication of this team. Thank you, Steph, for being an outstanding manager and for the 10/10 customer service!
