Thought about transferring to Verizon. Tried with one of the person in the store. It is my first time transferring a number to another carrier so I don't really know the process. I guess the guy just assumed I know everything and I assumed with his expertise he would be able to handle the situation. I searched online and found the information a bit confusing. So I contacted the customer service from my previous carrier and also showed this guy my personal pin. I'm not sure which one is correct. I showed him the conversation with the customer service and my personal pin.
Before I get the actual transfer pin from the customer service, he proceeded with my personal pin, which was wrong. Then I got stuck in between. I cannot receive any verification code or msg from my previous carrier. Meaning I cannot receive the correct code by chat conversation anymore. I cannot receive any phone call with Verizon, as the transfer was not completed.
To this point, while I'm unhappy, I can still think it's an unlucky incident. What piss me off is that when I ask how long it might need because I need to leave, his reaction is "if the code is correct, we would be done 10 mins ago." "You can leave whenever you want, but I just need the code to process."
If I know everything, I won't be in the store asking for help.
I left the store after that conversation as I need to pick up someone. So far, I have been trying to solve this issue for the past 4 hrs. Lesson learned.

Rough experience at this location. The store manager really doesn’t know what he’s doing but comes off confidently like he does and it’s embarrassing. I went there a few weeks back to set my account up because I was switching from AT&T, and decided to switch my account from a post paid to a prepaid to save money. We had so many issues and really, they were his fault. He set up the account wrong twice, forgetting to port my number from AT&T. It was a disaster. Then, he set my account up as a Spanish-speaking account and now all of my correspondence is Spanish only.
He really just …made a mess of my account.
