  This was the worst experience with getting my dog’s nails trimmed. I usually take her to a vet because she is old and has very long quicks, which need to be handled with care. I explained that up front and came here because of the high ratings. Not only did they cut into my dog’s quicks, but they then brought her out to me bleeding and asked what I wanted to do. I told the technician to stop the bleeding, after she had bled all over my pants, so she took her in the back to put quick stop powder on her. She then brought my bloody, brutalized dog back out to me and charged me $35 to butcher my dog’s feet, which is more than I’ve ever been charged. This was a horrific experience. I left with my dog traumatized and panting heavily from the pain and blood all over my pants. This is a pathetic excuse for a place that is supposed to put the care of animals first. Shame on you. We will never be back and I hope this discourages anyone who reads this to go somewhere else.

  VCA Central Expressway Animal Hospital is a lovely group of the kindest pet loving people around. We have been a customers since before they moved to this location and Dr. Cobb has been our vet for the last 13 years. I am always so pleased with how he cares for and treats my pets. Our golden, "Sunday", just recently had to have a mass removed that came back with a good report (thank goodness!) and I think Dr. Cobb was even more excited with the news that we were. I use their kennel services too when we travel and my dog loves it there. They have a big back yard where she can run and play. Here's a picture they sent me when she stayed over the 4th of July. Sunday gives them a big paws up!

  If I could give this satellite location a 0, I would ! I had a terrible traumatic experience with my pet today. I felt so upset, I even cried as I was appalled at the treatment my pet and I were given. I was discriminated, and my pet was unnecessarily put on a muzzle ; simply because the Assistant- young man by the last name Gamez; did not like him or me. The Doctor [Cobb] on staff mistreated us too ; he inadvertantly kicked us out from his consultation claiming he had another client that had been waiting since 9:00 AM. Excuussee meee..for wasting his time ; when all I wanted was a suggestion from "the experts" - which clearly these individuals lack. They treated me as if I had no money to pay and looked down on me because I am a minority of Hispanic decent. This is extremely unfair and unjust. My dog is vulnerable (as are all dogs, cats, and any pet overall) and for them to do this is unacceptable. They have traumatized my dog! Not once, did another Doctor - which I have token him numerous times too ; had ever had the audacity to discriminate us or mistreat my pet. You are all monsters! Cobb and Gamez criticized my ways with my pet. Very unprofessional. My dog's personality is playful, and if they are not willing to be noble with any dog regardless of characteristics ; then they are in the wrong profession. I believe working with pets is humbling and noble. But, some do not see it that way and want to attack minorities and their pets. Pitiful.
