  We would like to thank the staff at VCA for the amount of support and care that we recently received attending to our sweet Rainey. We were provided a private entrance into the clinic and exit. They were so caring and attentive to our needs. This wasn't our first time saying goodbye to one of our fur kid's. Thank you for the card and support during this most difficult time.

  I am writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service and billing practices at VCA Premier Animal Hospital at E. Whitestone Blvd, Cedar Park. After bringing my dog in for an evaluation, I was recommended several expensive exams and X-rays. To manage these costs, I enrolled in the VCA Care Club (Adult Paws) Care Plan with monthly payments for a year. Monthly payments were automatically withdrawn from my bank account. However, after 5 months, the automatic withdrawals from my account stopped without notice. The payments were a low amount so I didn’t notice it had stopped. I was never contacted regarding a payment issue, there was no changes to my bank account, it suddenly stopped. Yet, I was reached by a collection agency 2 months after the payments stopped, Caine & Weiner to collect the debt. I had no issue paying the full amount I owed. However, I do have a serious concern about the damage this caused to my credit score — something I have worked very hard for years to build. This has severely and unfairly impacted my credit, and the negative mark will remain on my record for 7 years. Furthermore, I found the clinic’s pricing to be significantly higher than other local providers, and I was uncomfortable with the veterinarian recording our consultation—a practice I have not encountered elsewhere, despite I was asked for permission. Avoid this place and its care plan at all costs. I strongly DO NOT recommend them.

  Dr. Sheree Milligan and her team are amazing. My dog can be difficult, but they always go the extra step to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Milligan truly listens, takes her time, and explains everything clearly, which I really appreciate. It makes such a difference to feel heard and supported, especially with a challenging pet. I’m very grateful for the care we receive and highly recommend her and her team.

  I have a very anxious and reactive shih tzu. She needs to be sedated to have grooming and be seen by the vet. I took my dog here three times total. Each time I have a negative complaint about. First- the groomer did not cut the hair around my dogs face properly. That is literally one of the main areas my dog will not let me cut at home. She’s sedated… what’s the issue? The groomer told me to go somewhere else when I called to complain. LOL NO. IM COMING BACK YOU'RE GONNA FIX IT. The vet told her to do it and she did. So at least it was corrected, but the groomer already gave me the impression that she hates me cus I called her out. Anyway, the second time- again the same groomer sucked, but my dogs hair needs to be cut and most vets don’t have groomers, so I felt like I didn’t really have another local choice. Third- I was willing to try one more time with a new groomer this location recently hired. She was worse. I found a big long lump of ear wax in my dogs ear. She didn’t clean them out. I didn’t bother calling them to fix the issue after that. The staff here is nice, but also kinda lack luster… I asked for a prescription to be sent to the pharmacy and they said they would just email it to me instead of them doing it. I called the pharmacy only for them to tell me it has to be the vet to send it in. SHOCKER. Anyway, I think they just made things complicated, so that I’m less likely to go back. And it worked. CONGRATS

  This place cost me an arm and a leg. Our dog had a vomiting issue, and they added various tests that are not usually necessary for this type of issue, namely x-ray, blood test, etc. The same condition was treated $500 lower last year in another pet hospital near our old place. Yes you can easily get a same day service, but be careful about the expensive cost. I don't know if it's because of lacking experiences that they have to do additional tests to rule out issues than other hospitals. Will not recommend.
