Most of them are clueless about the products and there is a lot of confusion between employees no proper coordination. They are not honouring what is shown on the website and no one knows what processes to follow

This was my shortest best buy trip ever. I had stopped by to view some products with my wife when one employee interrupted our conversation to say “do you need anything’ because we close in 30 minutes and I am not trying to get anything from the back last minute” which is understandable considering they were going to close soon, but that was not the correct way to approach customers. Despite this we went up to checkout as I had noticed they had some Pokémon products behind the counter, but when I asked the cashier if I could purchase one he coldly said no despite them being in clear view for any customer to see. As many of us can understand working a closing shift is not the best, but we had not disturbed anyone and can’t find any reason as to why we would be met with poor service.

Excellent Service and Great Selection!
I’ve always had a great experience shopping at Best Buy. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help — whether it’s finding the right tech product or answering questions about setup. The store is clean, well-organized, and has an amazing variety of electronics, from laptops and TVs to smart home devices.
Checkout is fast, online orders are easy to pick up, and their price matching policy gives me peace of mind that I’m getting the best deal. I’ve also used their Geek Squad service, and they go above and beyond every time.
Highly recommend Best Buy for anyone who values great customer service and reliable products!

For over 10 years, this place been our favorite, me, my kids and family, we just love that place and love to be there often, I'm only giving 4 stars because of the lack of staff, there is almost no one to assist, most employees are only working for samsung, apple or another brand and when you approach them for help they say Oh we don't know, let me call someone for you, they do call but that someone arrives after a long wait.

Extremely Disappointed with Best Buy’s “Protection Plan” and Service Process
I’ve been a loyal Best Buy customer for years, but this recent experience left me completely dissatisfied. I contacted Best Buy to schedule service for my Samsung gas dryer that’s making a grinding noise. I have a 10-year protection plan, yet the agent informed me I’d need to pay $129.99 upfront just to have someone diagnose the problem — even though parts are supposedly covered.
This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. When a customer purchases a protection plan, they expect service without hidden or unexpected fees. Paying before any work is even done — with no assurance of quality or accountability — is unacceptable. A reputable company should stand behind its service, not demand payment upfront before earning customer trust.
To make matters worse, the website’s scheduling system didn’t even work, forcing me to go through chat, where the process was slow and unhelpful. The agent was polite, but the policy itself is what’s broken.
I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and will no longer be purchasing appliances or protection plans from Best Buy. Customers deserve better transparency and support — not fine print and fees disguised as “standard procedure.”
