Went a couple days ago with my husband and he surprised me with the new Dyson Airwrap ID. Something I’ve been wanting for a very long time. We were in an out within a couple minutes but unfortunately after using it the first time, it went out and wouldn’t start anymore. We remained calm because we had purchased the 2 year warranty on it. Went back the next day to customer service for a replacement. Unfortunately we were assisted by Daniela in customer service. She informed us the serial number on the box was not matching with the number on the receipt. When my husband was explaining to her and showing her our email receipts and warranty she had a smirk on her face as if she were making fun of us. This was an $800 item and she treated it as a joke and was very unprofessional with us. We are already in a frustrating position so I don’t understand why they would have somebody with this horrible attitude working in customer service. Thankfully the manager Rene stepped in and assisted us. He explained that the person who checked us out that day scanned a different item than the one he sold us. He was able to order a replacement for us online. We’re glad the store was able to help us with THEIR mistake after they pretty much embarrassed us in front of all the other customers. They were trying to make it seem like we were scamming them because our item didn’t match our receipt when it was THEIR mistake. We have been Best Buy customers for a very long time. We’ve purchased ALL our home appliances from this store and never had any problems. We’re not so sure if we will continue to do so after this experience with them. Definitely need some more customer service training. And please let your employees know to scan the right items!! Especially if we have a warranty, we shouldn’t be having to deal with these issues or bad treatment.

I would say the worst Best Buy in Brownsville but sadly they only have one. It’s the holidays and these people only have one register open with a long line. Whoever is the manager at this location needs some training. Everyone in management knows during the holidays, you should be fully staffed with several registers open! Ridiculous store!

Probably the most horrible customer service I've experienced from them lately. I ordered a TV, they say they will deliver it. They don't, instead they reschedule for the next day, they dont deliver it. Then reschedule for today (Tuesday) they don't deliver it either. I call and ask what the deal is, they said they have the TV in stock no problem but can't deliver it because those TVs are meant to be sold on the floor and not delivered. I ask if I'm in the area I can go ahead and pick up the TV instead and they said yes but I may have to wait an additional 2 hours to pick it up because the system takes a long time. Can't you guys just grab the tv you have in stock and send me that? If I'm in the area, can't I just show my ID and verify it's me and pick it up instead? Why do you guys make it so difficult with everything? Absolute horrible business practice and honestly probably will be my last purchase.
