I submitted everything they asked for right away. It’s now August 2025, and Verizon has still not paid off my AT&T balance. I just received a bill from AT&T for $2,599.53 for the devices I traded in. I’ve followed up multiple times, but the issue is still unresolved. This experience has been frustrating, costly, and time-consuming. If you’re promised a payoff here, get it in writing before you switch.
