We had an excellent experience with this clinic while preparing international travel documents for our dog. The staff was amazing, incredibly helpful, and so kind to both us and our dog throughout the entire process. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally.

I rushed my french bulldog here when I came home to her having a massive seizure. I called the nearest vet and they told me they were about to close and to not come. I was headed to a 24/7 urgent care vet and saw this place on the way. They let me in, and stayed over 2 hours past closing. Unfortunately my baby didn’t make it, but I would like to thank the staff and vet that stayed there with us. I will be sending flowers and a thank you card. It was the worst day and I’m so thankful for everyone working overtime. It meant so much.

After going here for many years, it has unfortunately ended on a sour note.
Our dog passed away 4 months ago and VCA wouldn’t allow us to cancel her Care Club membership without substantial cancellation fees. We are STILL paying monthly membership fees for our dead dog….
They also performed services that were not asked for that we are now required to pay for if we cancel it =\
Unfortunately it seems the corporate greed is starting to take over this place, including overpriced services, but some of the vet techs are wonderful!

BIRD OWNERS BEWARE! 🦜
I had a very disappointing experience bringing my two Amazon parrots to this clinic. I’m writing this a year later because the situation still hasn’t sat right with me.
In 2025, I scheduled an appointment for a wing trim for both birds and a beak trim for one of them who has an abnormal beak. Before booking, I called the clinic to confirm they provided these services, and they assured me they did.
However, once we arrived, the veterinarian and assistant immediately began trying to convince me not to trim my birds’ wings. While I understand different perspectives, I made it clear that I still wanted the service done.
They then took both birds to the back, which was unusual compared to my previous experiences where everything was done in front of me. Shortly after, they returned visibly panicked and shaken. This immediately alarmed me, I genuinely thought something serious had happened to my birds.
I was told one of my parrots had become highly stressed and needed oxygen. This was extremely upsetting, especially since I’ve never had anything like that happen before. While I understand birds can get stressed, the way the situation was handled felt chaotic and unprofessional.
They then suggested using anesthesia, which I declined. When they attempted the same process with my second parrot, the outcome was similar—again returning in a state of panic.
To make matters worse, they continued to lecture me about wing trimming and training, despite having already agreed to perform the service beforehand. At that point, it felt like they were backtracking on what they had originally told me over the phone.
In the end, the services were not completed, yet I was still charged over $200 for the visit. I left feeling frustrated, misled, and concerned for my birds safety.
A few months later, I even tried to give them another chance. Since I had already paid the new patient fee (which should have covered me for a year), I called back to schedule the wing trims again. I made it clear I did not want to work with the same veterinarian due to my previous experience. I expressed my concerns and was told someone would follow up with me—but I never received a call back.
That lack of communication was extremely disappointing. You had my information on file and chose not to follow up.
Overall, this experience felt disorganized, unprofessional, and poorly handled from start to finish. I would strongly advise other bird owners to proceed with caution when considering this clinic.
