I highly recommend VCA Arbor Animal Hospital and I couldn't ask for a better place to take care of my dogs. The staff is very considerate and caring and all the vets are top notch. I've been bringing my dogs here for over 20 years. They have managed their routine visits, sick pup visits and several bigger issues, broken teeth, surgeries, eating stuff they shouldn't on more than 1 occasion, spay, neuter, etc..
The vets and vet techs are absolutely awesome. They listen to us, ask lots of questions, take time with our pups and ensure our questions are answered. You can tell they genuinely care about us and our pets.
The front desk and office staff are always very nice whether in person or on the phone. I've always been treated kindly and respectfully, and they make our pets feel very welcome, lots of love, pets and scratches.
They have been up front and honest with all pricing and have always provided us with multiple options for treatment when possible.
I'm always impressed when I take my dogs in for sick visits or after a procedure that they will always reach out a few days later and check up on them to see how they are doing.
I really appreciate everything they do to take such good care of my pets and can't thank them enough.

My husband and I have been taking our animals to VCA (Specifically, Dr. Lucia) for almost 10 years now. We have lost pets with them; we have welcomed new puppies with them. Their team of providers (Dr. Lucia, Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Curran), front desk staff (Jose, Shannon, Meghan) and care coordinators (Brandon, Ashley, Meaghan) are SOOO dear to us...we can never leave them! They're an office that makes people feel that they belong. I feel seen and heard when I communicate with their team and I know that their focus is always on the animal of mine that is present. Their team meets people where they are and is well rounded. It's not a hoity-toity unapproachable kind of office. Everyone has a genuine and endearing demeanor.
VCA Team - thank you SO MUCH for EVERYTHING that you do for us and our fur babies. <3

For over 4 years we have used VCA Arbor. We have had nothing but good experiences. If you have had to send a fur-baby "over the rainbow bridge", you know that the decision is excruciating. Dr. Ellie Wood, our vet, assisted us in this process TWICE within 6 months–our 17 year old Pommy first, then our 18 year old Pommy. Ellie was super-duper caring and compassionate and the office was as well. After about 4 weeks, our empty house got the best of us, and we welcomed a rescue—our first ever Pomsky, Stella—into our family. Stella came with issues, including a parasite. VCA walked us through this new journey, and we could not be more pleased. Thank you for loving your clients, VCA.

I would not recommend this place for basic services. Exceptionally overpriced. I paid $250 for a rabies booster, bordatella vaccine, and heartworm blood draw. I had just gone in a few weeks prior for a wellness exam and DHPP booster and they charged me again another $100 for this exam. when I asked the vet about my dogs licking his paws a lot she just said it was normal and didn’t explain anything about yeast which I found out about by researching myself. Also all VCA’s got bought out by Mars, incorporated - who also owns pedigree, royal canon, greenies, etc. which they will conveniently sell you. The vet tech was really sweet but seemed like she was more interested in selling me more services. FD staff was not friendly to me and the vet didn’t seem like she really cared or wanted us there for long. Also, given the disproportionate numbers of Asians with bad reviews, maybe they are racist or don’t like people from out of town? My suggestion would be to find an independently owned vet clinic. I’m sure all of the staff are great but sadly have to operate under the umbrella of corporate greed which wants to profit off our love for animals.
