The first time, the employee who helped me was obviously new but she was incredibly helpful. I had to go back a few days later because the issue popped up again. The second time I came in she was reprimanded by a coworker for trying to advocate for me in resolving my issue. They don’t want to help. Instead they want their customers to figure out their problems on their own on the Verizon website. If you’re not buying a phone but need help with a phone you already purchased, they have no desire to help. Unless they’re new, but the more experienced employees will get that helpful attitude out of their system fast. Go to the Verizon in Gun Barrel city instead. They provide a MUCH better customer service experience and will make sure you leave with your problem(s) solved.

They don't look for a way to sell you and make a buck; they listen, comprehend the point of why you are there, and act with quick, efficient courtesy like Native Texans looking out for Native Texans. The usual snobby, youngster attitude most cellular offices have for the common consumer is not part of their act. Have a question, answered. Have a problem, solved. Need a friend in the business, walk into their store. After struggling with the lack of service and performance from other companies, they took the weight off of me, and handed me the key to great service, great people, and the easiest internet fix ever. Stop chasing the dream, stand on the truth; Athens, Texas is where Verizon hears YOU now! Tell them you want the 1836 treatment, "service as great as our Texas, for the people that keep it great".
