Staff is always nice and courteous but the building seems like the most depressing place to work. Not sure if they need better lighting or a refresh of the inventory layout, but it is hard to be in there for more than 5 minutes.

This is one of the few times that I had a really good experience at best buy. We were looking for a gas cooktop and the person who helped us was very knowledgeable and helpful. He showed us different tops and explained why some were better than others. When we settle on the one we wanted he was able to get us free delivery . And then when I wanted to go buy a printer he called ahead to the next department so that somebody would be there to greet me and help me out. The delivery of the gas cooktop was Timely and the guys who delivered it were efficient and friendly ..

I ordered a tv and I selected 3-7 timeframe I received a call at 1 saying they were on the way I advised I’m at work and get off at 3:30 I chatted in and was advised I could be delivered later received a call was told otherwise and the agent said it’s nothing they can do and disconnected

My Dad is in town from MS and he's older so he depends on me to do his tech support when he's around. We discovered that he had a bad battery and figured we'd get it fixed and saw we could do it at Best Buy instead of going all the way to Dallas. We set an appointment and when we get there we're told that the guy who fixes the phones is gone for the day. They say we can do another appointment for the next day at 4:40. So we show up the next day and we're again told that the guy who fixes phone is gone for the day. At this point I'm fairly upset because you set appointments and knew that you wouldn't be able to provide the service two days in a row. Let's say hypothetically you didn't only figured out the guy wouldn't be able to fix the phone on short notice, you could've called and gave a heads up to not come.
The older black gentleman who worked up front was great and asked did I want a manager. The manager was the most unhelpful out of the bunch (a tough feat I might add). I could tell by the expression on his face that he couldn't care less and lacked empathy. It was the people beneath him saying that they should call around to other Best Buys and see if they could squeeze me in as an emergency. He told me there was nothing he could do and washed his hands of the situation.
Keep in mind tomorrow is MLK Day so Apple is closed. I really don't care about Best Buy not being able to do it. But if you know you can't do it don't take the reservation or at least when you realize you can't do it, give me a call. Now since I've wasted two days dealing with them we don't have time to get it done here before my Dad goes back to MS where the nearest Apple Store will be 2 hrs away. They robbed me of the opportunity to go elsewhere
That lack of compassion or willingness to try to remedy the situation pretty much ensures that I pretty much won't step foot in this Best Buy again. Shame because the guy at the door was pretty cool.
