- VRVeronica Rodriguez2 days ago1.0My husband went to upgrade his phone. We had an offer from Verizon. The gentleman working told us we had to pay 256.00 to upgrade. The Verizon in 5 points said it was for taxes on the phone. The one in Alice said that Verizon charges the same amount. I called Verizon and that’s untrue. It was 150 cheaper to do it in store. Ridiculous. We felt lied to and will now drive to corpus for any additional purchases. I would prefer the drive when I know I’m gettin an honest answer

- MBMaxine BrownAug 5, 20251.0They have only one cell site in Alice, TX so it’s always congested and makes the median download speed about 12 mbs.. meanwhile, AT&T not only has download speeds of 400 mbs and above but they have 5G!! Verizon needs to improve their network by either adding a cell tower or adding more collocation sites ‘cause it’s really inconvenient.
