My mother just left there with a problem with her SIM card. This would be her 3rd time in 1 week where they replaced her card stating it should work now. Welll, it didn’t. They stated she would need to pay 800because she owed that on her phone, which she was originally told was free. Ha… nope… only free if you’ve had it for a certain number of years. So she could add a line for 300. She was very upset. Went to her car and decided to go back in and ask to call customer service. She was so upset she was tearing up. The manager on duty at 1:00 today said I see you are upset because she had tears. In her eyes.. so they said maybe they needed to have police escort her out. She stated she didn’t say anything. She just said nevermind and left. Went home and called technical service my dad’s home line. Found out her phone is under warranty because it’s a year old and she will have a new phone delivered tomorrow. She asked why they didn’t tell her that. They stated that they get commission and wanted to sell her a phone.

Service is horrible. Waited for 30min to get service and when I asked why people where going ahead of me they said they called my name which was a joke I was sitting in the corner and never heard a word. Go somewhere else if you want good service

I have been in a 2 month battle with Verizon that began with a simple trade in promo deal at the local store in Tuscaloosa, AL. Since that time, have spent 6+ hours on phone with offshore support trying to resolve as a Verizon issue on the trade in phone was preventing the promotion from being applied. Nobody could or would help, the problem wouldn't go away, and or claim responsibility for an issue that was entirely of Verizon's doing. Finally, out of desperation, I went into this branch where I reside and asked to speak to Tim, the store manager. After explaining the months long odyssey, he jumped into action. Not only did he engage with Verizon, he followed up with me several days later as he promised and was able to work with overseas support to finally resolve the issue and reinstate our promo, which was worth $800. In a large corporate world that is Verizon, reminder there are those who want and can help and appreciate Tim's dedication to helping resolve a matter he had nothing to do with from the start.
