Super friendly, fast, and caring staff. Took their time with us and were really flexible and helpful. Happy to have found a new vet in Franklin. 10/10

Dr Girone has been with our fam thru several several dogs in the years! He gives his all to his patients and cares and it shows as he works with your animals.

I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD. I don’t typically write reviews, but this clinic is so beyond below any place I’ve been. The only positive I had at this clinic was the receptionist, Haley. She is so friendly and apologetic. The way the staff talk to each other is unacceptable. Eric, the other receptionist, has such an awful attitude with the way he talks to his other coworkers. I was going to let that pass, maybe he was having a bad day. I had also heard a doctor in the back, who I was told it was Dr. Merrill, talking down on her techs and came out talking alongside another tech about another person. I guess they didn’t see me. I had waited at least 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time with my dog with no one acknowledging my presence once. Things get busy, I understand, but an update would have been appreciated. When I was finally put in a room, the tech was rude from the beginning. I think her name was Kim. (This is not the first time I’ve been here with the tech being rude, the other one’s name was Michelle). She did not seem like she knew anything that she was talking about and kept answering with “I don’t know” and laughing. They had taken my dog to the back and it took 20 minutes just to draw blood. The tech said he was a difficult stick, so multiple people had to poke him. The doctor had finally come in, Dr. Johnson since who we usually see is no longer at this clinic. All I will say about this interaction is she is not confident in what she tells you and says many contradicting things. That also took an extra 45 minutes just for her to talk because she goes in circles and tries to sound smart by over-explaining and using big words. Usually, that is appreciated, but the fact she continued to go in circles was exhausting. Overall, I would STEER CLEAR from this clinic if you prioritize your doctors and techs being knowledgeable and helpful. And if you value your time. This visit took me around 1.5-2 hours with no clear answers. I have been going here for 3 or 4 years now with my 4 dogs and wouldn’t touch it with a 10ft pole. With the new management, they have gone so downhill.

We’ve never been to a VCA we didn’t like until this visit. The vet tech was not friendly, and Dr. Johnson did not truly listen. She seemed more interested in selling to us rather than trying to help. The office manager, Lo, was also unpleasant to text with. She questioned and undermined us when we requested simple prescription refills. She told us we shouldn’t have stopped the medication abruptly and should have called within 24 hours of running out. We definitely would have if someone had mentioned it. She responded with a defensive attitude. What she didn’t know is that we had called the previous morning and were told the prescriptions would be sent in. It turns out no one ever called them in. She then proceeded to tell us that we would need to schedule a follow-up appointment in order to receive one of the prescriptions. We found this interesting because we had the same prescription refilled without a follow-up visit at another VCA. This place is more focused on making money than great customer service. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this office.

The whole staff at VCA are wonderful. I lost my beloved dog of 15 yrs today. Dr. Merrell and Danielle were amazing. I can't thank them enough. It was such a hard day and they were loving, sympathetic, compassionate and so extremely supportive. Thank you both So much. Debbie
