Please avoid. The provider the night I was at the ER was very condescending. The nurse was busy eating and hanging out behind the nurses desk, I only got updates because I asked and when I finally got an update it seemed like the nurse and provider wasn’t on the same page. We had sat for hours only to be told after I asked that we would not be seen until the next morning. They don’t care

I went to the ER for severe lower back pain at 5:45pm was taken back to a room at 6pm. Took them 10 mins to get into the room just to give me fluids & medicine for pain after blood work. Scheduled a CT at 6:15pm but didn't get down til 6:45pm so after CT was put back into my room then it was time for Shift Change and I've sat in that room 3 & half hours didn't see no nurse or Dr at all. I was becoming my impatient knowing you can hear everyone out in the hall near desk gathered around laughing and taking orders for Starbucks Coffee, ER patients should be more important then ur gossip with laughter & coffee ordering so few hours passed by. Then I had to call nurse in there cause blood was coming out of my poorly inserted IV and I don't like seeing that. So he unhooked the fluid bag & flushed the IV port. This was at 9:10pm then he said your my only patient and we are waiting for your CT tests to be read & Dr will be in. Then Dr finally came in at 9:40 and said he is still waiting for the CT to be read, he told me that he didn't see nothing on the scans even tho he was waiting for it to be read by a tech, he didn't tell me nothing about my blood work he left and never came back. So another 40mins passed then this nurse came in with discharge papers didn't explain much, so I asked nicely whom may I talk to about getting my CT scan on a DVD, then she plainly told me oh that totally confidential and can't be given to me. I was like hmm so how can I get it other times but not tonight. She said she didn't know. I was like forget it I just wanna get the hell out of there I was already mad cause I didn't think they care to much on helping me. But instead they kept me in there to rack up that insurance bill. But this place needs to BE SHUT DOWN.. It doesn't matter how many people you replace in that hospital it will not change nothing.. Spartanburg Regional NEEDS TO DO BETTER for this location. But I won't be going back to location to be seen I rather drive 25 mins to another hospital. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND NO ONE TO GO TO THIS PLACE.

Worst hospital I've ever stepped foot in. Went through some mental health issues in June 2025. Was treated like a criminal and not a patient. They continued to laugh at me and make me feel stupid. The staff couldn't be bothered to assist when I needed real help. The nurses even poked fun at me, telling me I needed to look into Assisted suicide for whatever reason??? This felt like a horror movie instead of a medical facility. I kept complaining because the water they gave me tasted of straight chemicals. There was a weird machine that was responsible for being the only AC unit in there, and they told me that is what the ER depends on for air conditioning. Horrible practices. I had trouble peeing one day, and i had a nurse that threatend to use a catheter on me, which I told them I wouldn't accept it, and they threatened to hold me down and make me take it against my will if I didn't produce a pee sample. There was a nurse that was 90 years old that refused to do any work. She sat at a desk watching Netflix on her phone. Had to have other nurses do her job for her. I was not the same after leaving this place and may never be. Traumatizing is an understatement. These people do not care about our safety. Glad that I grew up in a place where hospitals valued the patients and actually aimed to treat them. This was not that

I have been to this hospital several times for bloodwork. The lab had the best people to meet. From the time you walk in your met with the sweetest lady in outpatient desk area, she’s just so nice. I have medical issues that require lots of labs so i have been several times in the last couple years. Stephanie in the lab is always bright and funny, she puts me at easy and it doesn’t even hurt when she draws blood. I’m a hard stick since I’ve had medical issues but she puts me at ease and gets it the first try. Just something that simple make a big difference to someone who’s terrified of needles. I’m glad there’s a good person when I go in. I’ve been to the radiology department a few times and those ladies are also nice. I’m glad our little town has good healthcare workers and they care about patients. I’m glad we have a good healthcare facility with nice people to take care of you.
