- APAnwar PazFeb 17, 20173.0The employee behind the desk was easy-going and knowledgeable until I tried explaining that my number used to be a landline but now it wasn't. 10 minutes later, once that issue was settled, I explained that I wanted to port my number to Cricket. The look on the poor girl's face: you'd think I had just asked her to scrub the floor of the store with a toothbrush. She called her boss, who was also confused and advised me to go back to AT&T (my previous carrier) and have them do that. When I started to point out that AT&T was Cricket's parent company, I could see the "scrub the floor" look of panic start to reappear on her face and decided to leave. Nice enough staff, but after an hour of explaining, still couldn't do anything for me.
