I went to Best Buy a few weeks ago to buy a new hard drive for my desktop. Someone offered to help and found me what I wanted. Then he said I needed a SATA cable to connect the new drive. Turns out I didn’t, since the computer already came with a few, and I simply used the one connected to my old hard drive.
When I tried to return the cable, they wouldn’t take it back. Apparently the return window is 14 days—unless you pay to be a member. Funny enough, the same guy who told me I needed the cable was the one who refused to take it back.
At Best Buy I’ve bought my last three gaming computers, my 32" monitor, gaming keyboard, headset, and mouse. But by all means, don’t accept the return of a $10 cable I never asked for in the first place.

Had a problem with my phone, made an appointment with the geek squad and had a great experience, the problem was resolved quickly, and the employee Shiloah who helped me was personable, respectful, and clear and concise when it came to solving my problem. A usually annoying experience became one of the highlights of my day. Great job!

Horrible experience. Trying to buy an expensive laptop, and the first guy just wasn’t helpful and walked away immediately. Took fifteen minutes just to be sold the lab top once we found it. Then we got lied to when trying to set up a transfer from one computer to another. Online, it says very clearly that it’s $99 for a transfer, but they were trying to upsell me on a membership and claiming no, $150 when it says that nowhere!! I was told it was more if I didn’t set up my own computer when I was purchasing it but it was $99 for transfer, but the dude at the service counter and the geek squad manager lied and said it was $150 and wouldn’t give me a solid reason why! Now they’ve lost my money and I’m going elsewhere for the transfer.
