    Worst experience ever! As a Christmas present for my two 13 year old daughters I thought I would upgrade their cell phones to the new iphone 17 promax - what a HUGE mistake that turned out to be. It took over 90 minutes to finalize the upgrades to my plan and pick out the phones. Andrew was a little slow but I thought he seemed pretty thorough. Walked me through all the charges and changes, reassured me the phones wouldn't be activated before Christmas, and confirmed it was ok that we didn't send the old phones in for trading until after Christmas which would be over the 30 days. Left the store feeling good only to get a call from my husband twenty minutes later telling me that Verizon sent each of the girls text messages about activating their new devices and just to make things worse their old phones have now been deactivated!!!! Completely ruined their surprise Christmas gifts!!! Now the girls know that they are getting phones for Christmas!! Way to go Verizon!! Wish it ended their, but now I had to try and get their old phones reactivated because I still wasn't ready to give them their new phones. By this time Verizon is closed so I'm forced to use the tech support and try and explain this entire mess via text...the first guy was useless and said they would be reactivated some time that night. Had a feeling something was off so I reached back out and got a second agent who confirmed he didn't do anything he was supposed to do and so she took over the ticket and was able to help and reactivated the old phones within 40 min. This has been the worst experience with Verizon I've had in the 19 years. I will never go back to the Smithfield store again!!! Merry bah humbug Christmas Verizon!

    I’m a 77 yr old Verizon customer who stopped in for help as my phone wasn’t working well (Im aware that it’s end user issue) I’m not facile with iPhones. I was so impressed with your retail specialist Joshua Robinson, He is such a credit to Verizon. He was polite, friendly & importantly, highly skilled & fixed my phone . He also took the time to teach me how to enhance my IPhone user efficiency
