    We called to upgrade our Fios internet. The representative asked us if we wanted to switch over our cell phones because they had a special going on. We decided that we would. They ordered four phones to be delivered to our home by UPS. Unfortunately, they tried to deliver twice but we were working and they need a signature to deliver. We called back and representative had the original order sent back and made a new order to be picked up at a local store. When picking them up I noticed one of the phones was not the correct one. I brought this up to the salesperson and they said that they could not return it in the store even though they had the correct one. They said I needed to call back. Being extremely annoyed I called back and this representative sent me to a Verizon store in Putnam CT. This being a drive I go there and guess what? They can’t return it and said she was completely incorrect. They said the only people that could possibly help would be a corporate store. They sent me to the Verizon in Smithfield Commons. I walked in and was greeted by Brian the assistant manager. I explained this completely frustrating situation to him and he started working on it. He opened the account and was able to return the phone and give me the correct one. He also noticed that all four of the new phones were assigned random phone numbers because of the four being in transit to be returned by UPS. He instantly without hesitation took on this complete mess and called many different departments to get the wrong numbers off and correct ones on. This took a few visits to get them transferred over. I would not been able to do this on my own. Brian was the most helpful, patient, attentative, knowledgeable, kind and funny manager I have ever dealt with. He also was able to have the original four phones taken off the bill early. He saved me a lot of money on streaming perks that they offer and applied my husbands military discount. If I could give him 10 stars I would. My family will always deal with Brian in the future!

    Worst experience ever! As a Christmas present for my two 13 year old daughters I thought I would upgrade their cell phones to the new iphone 17 promax - what a HUGE mistake that turned out to be. It took over 90 minutes to finalize the upgrades to my plan and pick out the phones. Andrew was a little slow but I thought he seemed pretty thorough. Walked me through all the charges and changes, reassured me the phones wouldn't be activated before Christmas, and confirmed it was ok that we didn't send the old phones in for trading until after Christmas which would be over the 30 days. Left the store feeling good only to get a call from my husband twenty minutes later telling me that Verizon sent each of the girls text messages about activating their new devices and just to make things worse their old phones have now been deactivated!!!! Completely ruined their surprise Christmas gifts!!! Now the girls know that they are getting phones for Christmas!! Way to go Verizon!! Wish it ended their, but now I had to try and get their old phones reactivated because I still wasn't ready to give them their new phones. By this time Verizon is closed so I'm forced to use the tech support and try and explain this entire mess via text...the first guy was useless and said they would be reactivated some time that night. Had a feeling something was off so I reached back out and got a second agent who confirmed he didn't do anything he was supposed to do and so she took over the ticket and was able to help and reactivated the old phones within 40 min. This has been the worst experience with Verizon I've had in the 19 years. I will never go back to the Smithfield store again!!! Merry bah humbug Christmas Verizon!
