    *Very disappointing experience with misleading pricing and broken promises* On Dec 21, I visited this Best Buy to sign up for mobile and home internet. I was clearly promised internet at $45 + tax if I took both services. Based on that assurance, I proceeded and even cancelled my previous internet connection. The installation date was moved, and I was repeatedly told the price would be corrected before activation. Despite multiple follow-ups, store visits, and written confirmations by text from the store manager, the price was never updated. On the day of installation (Jan 3) today, the internet price still shows $60 / $85, leaving me without internet and forcing me to chase the store yet again. Each time, I’m told someone will “call back,” but no resolution happens. Gift cards were provided as promised, but the monthly internet price was not honored, which is the main issue. This has been extremely frustrating and stressful as a student. I expected better transparency and accountability. I would not recommend signing up for services. here unless everything is confirmed in writing. To note: I went back and forth to the store 5 times already and it didn't help

    Je suis parti chercher un écouteur et un conseiller nommé Rachid a réussi à me faire changer d’avis sur mon forfait téléphonique et résidentielle. J’ai pu réaliser que je pouvais faire de grande économie et il m’a tout expliqué du début jusqu’à la fin, il est très patient, à l’écoute et là pour vous aider.

    I went with Bell on November 7th. I was told I’d only have to pay $45/month and that I wouldn’t have to pay the activation fee. I asked multiple times whether I would have to pay it or not and the sales rep said no and that I wouldn’t have to worry about it. Recently, I got my bill and I’m billed for $132... so I go back to ask the same person what happened and he tells me the activation fee is “covered” because the $80 activation fee is credit he gave me for $5 for the next 16 months… I was going to argue with him but I didn’t want to make a scene since there was a bunch of people so I just left but I’m angry and deeply upset that I was lied to and made to believe I’d only have to pay $45 when my bill is $132 and that the activation fee wasn’t “taken care of” but was credited for $5 for 16 months. These people are liars and are deceiving their customers. I know the name of the employee but I’m not going to name drop him out of privacy and because I don’t want him to be fired as it’s hard to find a job in Montreal. I even called support and they said I have to go to the exact place I bought them at and they want me to call them back with the name of the employee to make a complaint. I’ve NEVER EVER DONE THIS but for the first time, I want to talk to the manager and get this sorted out.
