They took X-rays of my dog to see if she had a blockage. They said she didn’t have a blockage but continued to throw up though the medicine they gave her to stop throwing up. I ended up taking her to a different animal hospital the same day and they took x rays, and saw the blockage. She needed immediate surgery to save her life. Not sure how they didn’t play close enough detail in the x rays to not see it. I also paid $1300 for them to give me the wrong information

We initially had a very frustrating experience—one that honestly felt like it warranted a 0-star review. We arrived for our scheduled appointment (5-10 mins late due to traffic from Philadelphia) only to find that the doctor had already left, with no explanation provided. When we called the front desk, we were told that they don’t typically call to confirm or cancel appointments, which only added to the confusion and disappointment. Earlier that morning, we had even called regarding our pup and shared some concerns, trying to be proactive and ask if there was anything we could do to make the visit easier for everyone. However, what truly stood out—and completely turned things around—was the kindness and compassion shown by Danielle, along with Dr. Raven and another technician (I apologize for not catching their name). Danielle, in particular, went above and beyond. Even though she had already finished her shift and was on her way out, she noticed us pulled over outside and took the time to check on us and ask if we needed help. Her willingness to step in when she didn’t have to speaks volumes about her character and dedication. That small act made a big difference and genuinely shifted our entire experience. Thank you to Danielle, Dr. Raven, and the team for your care and professionalism—it truly did not go unnoticed.

I’m writing to share some feedback regarding our recent experience when calling to schedule a cat at your organization. We adopted a stray from ACCT which is kill shelter in Philadelphia who had been abandoned, and he has already become a deeply loved part of our family. We were also pleasantly surprised and appreciative to receive the $250 well-check voucher for VCA—what a thoughtful and generous initiative. Unfortunately, our experience trying to use the voucher was quite frustrating. When I called VCA to better understand what services were included, I spoke with a representative named Sam. (OLD MARPLE LOCATION) The interaction felt rushed, and the communication came across as dismissive and unclear, which made it difficult to get the information we needed. There also seemed to be some confusion regarding whether certain tests—specifically FIV testing would be covered by the voucher. We were quoted $250 for FIV testing alone, which was surprising and significantly higher than expected. For comparison, our regular veterinarian charges approximately $59 for the same test, and they are not considered a low-cost provider. We ultimately decided not to use the voucher. While we think the voucher program is a wonderful idea in theory, our experience made it difficult to take advantage of. I wanted to share this feedback in case it helps improve communication and coordination with partner clinics in the future
