In the 31 years of being a customer at Verizon, I have never had such unbelievably horrid experience as I had yesterday. An individual named BIRD was the rep who I was assigned.
Let me preface this by saying that this was the third store I was at that day trying to get my new device activated by transferring it from one device to another. I have done this in the past so I knew it could be done & what was involved.
The assigned representative (BIRD) showed unprofessionalisn from beginning. They (he) was annoyed to help me. I asked some questions & was treated as though I had no idea what I was doing with my devices. I have 8 devices on my account so I do have experience on how things work.
Finally after listening to what I needed he initiated a transfer, told me it was going to take 45 minutes asking me if I was going to stay in the store ( to which I say yes), & walked away & told me to tell him when it was done.
He disappeared behind I locked door in the back of the store. 7 minutes later the transfer was complete. He was nowhere to be found. I asked multiple other reps that were busy, to please go back to let him know I was waiting for him. 20 minutes later, he emerged. When I made the comment that this was done 20 minutes ago, he proceeded to create a major scene telling me that I had an attitude with him since I walked in.
WAGGING HIS FINGER IN MY FACE, he tells me that he is not going to take MY attitude & that he was refused to help me & WALKED AWAY & WENT BACK BEHIND THE LOCKED DOOR leaving me with no one to help me since all the other reps were busy.
Stunned by how I was treated, I stood there for a second but then left the store without being helped at all. It was a disgusting display by a representative of Verizon.
In 31 years with Verizon & after interacting with many reps, I have never been treated so rudely by anyone. It was unprofessional & quite frankly unhinged. Whatever drama representative Bird was dealing with behind the closed door should not have been displayed in front of me & the other customers in the store.
I was in the store for over an hour & did not have anything handled on my devices.
I went home, called the Verizon customer service support & the rep on the line handled my request in a courteous & professional manner from the beginning of the call.
The bottom line is DO NOT GO TO THE PLEASANT HULLS STORE for fear that you would get representative BIRD & have a similar experience. They (he) should not be interacting with the public. His unprofessionalism was shocking & a disgraceful representation of Verizon.

I want to give a huge thank you to Amber, Brandon, and the entire Pleasant Hills Verizon staff for their outstanding customer service. I spent over five hours in the store trying to transfer my phone line from Xfinity to Verizon. While the process was frustrating due to Xfinity’s poor practices, Amber and Brandon went above and beyond to help me.
Amber worked tirelessly with Verizon’s port team to escalate the issue and attempt to get my SIM card unlocked. Brandon, the manager, was equally committed, working behind the scenes to push things forward with Xfinity so that my business line could finally be ported over. Both of them demonstrated patience, professionalism, and true care for the customer—something I’ve never consistently experienced with Xfinity in 10+ years.
Unfortunately, Xfinity continues to prove why I moved away from them. Even though my phone has been paid off for three months, they never automatically unlocked my SIM card. Instead, customers are forced to call and request it, and even then, it takes 3–4 business days. Their customer service was dismissive, unhelpful, and at times dishonest—providing no transparency and failing to follow through on promises.
What stands out in this experience is the difference in values. Verizon proved that they respect their customers and operate with integrity. Yes, my bill may be slightly higher now, but the peace of mind and quality of service I’ve received from Verizon—thanks to Amber, Brandon, and their team—make it absolutely worth it.
If you’re considering leaving Xfinity, I highly recommend Verizon Pleasant Hills. Their team does everything they can to put the customer first.

So I get the pleasure of leaving another review because I had an issue with Verizon internally I had a couple of phones that were stolen and when I came and brought it to Verizon, they were actually very accommodating In resolving this issue, I will 100% recommend Verizon especially the store to anybody that needs a phone service.
Beverly and Drew are fantastic as usual.

The bleach blonde employee was extremely rude , unprofessional, and knows nothing about plans and how to keep customers. First of all you dont go into someone's plan and say wow your plan is crazy so many lines. And then contradict everything a manager and 2 other reps stated about my plan i have been with verizon for over 10 years I have not missed a payment. In 2 weeks we spent over $1000 in cash and was there to get the perks that were promised that I am eligible for mind you. I do not appreciate the audacity to treat me in front of others ignorantly and unprofessional. You know nothing about my plan nor do you know anything about the products. When you treat a good customer ignorantly because all you want to do is go in the back and eat a donut you may find your self jobless. I hope your boss gets wind and you get transferred or retrained. Fired is too harsh but it sure would be appreciated. Someone needs to treat you the way you treated my family and I. Degrading honey you dont understand the word what you did to my family and I is down right ignorant and rude. Ryan and William were extremely nice and they told us we have 30 days to come back to get a iPad or watch we upgraded 5 phones and today came to drop of the 2 phones. And whike there my step son was asking for a charger for his watch which is universal all watches..well this blonde haired rep stated its series 4 and they no longer have chargers..She was not in the mood to help us anyway the other rep there when we came in he stated there's 2 others which are women are in the back and yet to come out, he was nice he is who we had 2 weeks ago he was really nice he knows his stuff. The blonde rep not at all I wish they check their cameras. I would appreciate a call back from a manger. I will keep going there the other reps are very professional this rep she really needs retrained.
