    Don’t expect to get help with a return/exchange at this store if you purchased a device online through the Verizon website. I purchased an iPhone 17 Pro Max for my grandmother on the Verizon website. She tried to get used to it, but she couldn’t, so I figured I’d go to the store and return it and purchase a flip phone for her. Well, when the associate found out I purchased the iPhone from the Verizon website, I was told they can’t do anything with it and then handed me a flier with the Verizon Loyalty number and told me I had to contact them. I went home and contacted the Loyalty team, and they told me that corporate stores typically will facilitate transactions such as these; however, some stores “follow stricter return policies.” What’s the point of these brick-and-mortar locations if they cannot assist with these issues? It’s highly frustrating that stores can just follow whatever policies they want. How am I supposed to know which store follows which policies? Fortunately, I had my grandmother’s old flip phone on hand that the customer service agent was able to reactivate for me, but if we didn’t have the old device on hand, she’d be without a phone until Verizon processes the return. Super frustrating!

    Ask for Italy. She’s solved issues in 5 minutes tech support could not in 2 days. I absolutely do not recommend the Chippewa store to anyone. For an online purchase pick up add a line disaster Verizon almost lost me as a customer. Italy saved the day in 5 minutes and to top it off she cut the cost on the activation for the pain and suffering as well as my Disney bundle Netflix and HBO Max. For all your Verizon needs do yourself a favor ask for Italy. Corporate better give her a raise they’d be fools not to keep her happy on the books.

    Not a good experience. Arrived one or two minutes after they closed. However the employee was inside finishing up with a customer; he saw me and just told me from inside that the store was closed. I was just needing to pick a new phone, I had to come back the next day. It took less than a minute to get the phone that next day. Bureocracy is not exclusive to the government offices.

    Our setup experience here a year ago was terrible. The salesman had numbers that didn’t match up and had no explanation as to how he was getting the numbers that he was. He then up and left as well in order to take his lunch break without even saying a word to us. We had to come back the next day to get literally everything set up. We’ve had constant issues with service and customer service. We had yet again the next issue with service and sat on hold for an hour. We were close to this store so we went in even though we haven’t had the best experience there. They were able to restore the service but had no explanation really as to why this has happened multiple times. They also weren’t the most customer service forward people. We were not the easiest to work with but we are beyond frustrated with Verizon and we’re just looking for some assistance. This store needs to evaluate its procedures along with educating their managers and sales people. Verizon also needs to reevaluate their customer service and coverage for all customers!
