I was very happy with my experience here with Dr. Elgin! Very patient with my nervous pup and knowledgeable! Klondike warmed up a bit, especially with the cheese tax she got 🧀

VCA is a wonderful clinic, especially with their feline phenom, Dr. Elgin. Dr. Elgin has been working to calm the nerves of our neurotic cat and has exhaustively tried every treatment - new and old - to help him. To our amazement, his behaviors have changed; such care, concern, and empathy demonstrate a professional who truly pours into the profession, patients, and owners. Not only that, but Dr. Elgin’s laughter adds levity to difficult situations. To connect on such a human level is the mark of an exceptional practitioner, and it is my hope that Dr. Elgin continues with such superb cat care! Keep smiling, Dr. E: you are the consummate professional VCA (and the kitties) needs!

We got a wonderful puppy who unfortunately became very sick. Thankfully due to Dr. Elgin’s thorough review, excellent care, and thoughtful listening our puppy was seen and treated ultimately saving her life. We are forever grateful for Dr. Elgin providing the best possible care to our dog, and now she’s gets to live a full and healthy life. I will absolutely recommend Dr. Elgin to anyone and everyone for the best possible care. Forever thankful for this wonderful veterinarian.

honestly i’ve never taken the time to write a review on a place but after the experience i had with Dr. Ivy this evening i felt the need to. I have never felt so berated by a vet before than I did tonight. She talked very rudely the whole time. Acted like we had absolutely no care for our cat (this is very untrue as a lot as was thrown as us and we were trying to figure out what was best). She even came back out from the back after telling us we were good to go, met me in the lobby and continued to say our care was basically awful (just maybe a tad nicer). all in front of other clients. Hours later i’m still very upset and angry at the way I was treated by her this evening. To the point the tech even followed me out and apologized. I wish I knew her name because honestly she was the only good interaction this evening. I have been here other times before and have loved every single other vet but i will absolutely NEVER recommend Dr. Ivy after the way I was treated today.

Overall it was okay. I think the only smile I saw was from the vet tech that first called us back. Everyone else was honestly in my opinion a bit rude. How they spoke to my father today for a simple misunderstanding is a bit crazy and unprofessional. If you are that miserable being there, you can always work elsewhere.
