I took our new cordless vacuum in to replace a defective battery. The experience was wonderful - friendly service technician and seamless process - in stark contrast to the truly horrible experience we had with their online and phone support. This is our fourth Dyson product and the first time we’ve had an issue, so this gave us reassurance to keep buying Dyson products.

Karen at the Kong of Prussia service center is wonderful!!! I’ve spent more than two weeks trying to chase down details on 2 items I ordered on dyson.com. Every chat and every phone call to dyson.com ended with no information. I wasted hours upon hours for over two weeks just getting the runaround. Each time they would say they were within their 2 to 10 business day window and that the items would be arriving on time. They never did. The last phone call I made was literally 1 hour and 59 minutes. I asked to speak with a manager, and they put me back in the queue where the same call center answered. The woman told me that the in stock item would be shipping in one to three days and that she reached out to her back office and then that the item that’s been supposed to come into stock in 1-2 days for more than 2 weeks at this point could be swapped out for another color that was in stock. When she listed the colors in stock, she actually listed the same color that was on back order. I ended up picking another color that was in stock but when I checked back in two days online because yes, it takes that long for the order details to update online they actually canceled the in stock item that should have shipped and replaced it with a duplicate of the other item priced but priced $100 more!! Each time I called even attempting to just cancel the whole thing I was told they couldn’t do it due to the status and they refused to let me speak with any sort of manager. Each call said that I would have to let them speak with her back room and they’d get back to me in one to three days. Total scam!! How can Dyson charge so much money for their products and not be able to ship them in less than two weeks nor be able to give any sort of real customer support? This last call which lasted a half an hour and the man I spoke with completely refused to let me speak to anyone else frustrated me so much and then I thought about the King of Prussia location. So glad that I reached out and that I got to speak to Karen. Fingers crossed I should be getting the items that I ordered over two weeks ago online but couldn’t manage to ship finally shipped to me from my local service center.

It’s great that they’re able to diagnosis the issue with your dyson product so quickly and for free. We only waited 15 minutes on a busy Saturday morning. Unfortunately my dyson supersonic hairdryer purchased in 2019 had to have a plug and motor repaired which would have been $245 so I decided to just forgo the repair and purchase a new hair dryer.
